The manga was best of it all. heart Watsuki is amazing, naturaly. Characters developed slightly differently and Karou was ruined to an extent in the anime. But in all it was okay. The anime was close to the story though, just with filler and missing the Junchu Arc. The reason was because of the slow genius of Watsuki. *SIGH* The OVAs to me were horrid. They were too dark and dreary, it was not intended to be like that at all. Characters were messed up in the OVAs. stressed

I watched like 4 episodes of the anime and was like "Oh nos... it's, it's... not Watsuki's drawings"
Then I nearly died.

i like the maga better than the anime. the art in the manga is so much better than the anime, plus, to me, they all look like they were mutated elves in the anime. >.<

i like both. they both seem to be alot alike, unlike some where it doesn't follow the manga. I don't like how kenshin doesn't say "ORO" in the english version though.

Dragon of Rising Star BunnyCupCakes cyberspaceangel I started with the anime, but the manga's very good too then again, there are some stories in the anime that aren't in the manga which I really like heart
But I tended to like manga alittle more becuz of some stuff they totally kicked out in the anime.And I enjoy the manga's art alot ^^I agree, the best art I've ever seen! I'm kinda fifty/fifty on the anime/manga question. I saw the anime first, and I love all the funny faces and moments, plus, seeing stuff in motion helps me understand it better. And the fact that I own all the seasons on DVD might help...heh heh. But I own two mangas as well, and I love the art, plus the fact they have the jinchu arc.

THe manga is much better in my opinion because it is more detailed and you know almost exactly what is going on and not second guessing yourself as much as with the anime. 3nodding
