I love the Ren Fest as well it's only in October here in NC, but I stil get to go atleast once. Here's me and my man last year!  Here's just him.... oh so smexy!

I LOVE the Renaissance Festival/Faire! We call it Ren Faire, or Ren Fest. It's so much fun! I love the turkey legs, I have to get one every year. Here it comes every weekend in May, and then Memorial Day, which is a Monday. My brother is actually working there this year, so I'm gonna get to go the most I've ever gone. Going more than once is a MUST for me and my friends. I'm thinking about buying a season pass, since I can get some rides from him. Either next year or the year after, I'm definitely working there as well. When you include all of the costs of costumes and gas and things, it doesn't pay much, but I couldn't care less! I love all Medieval, Renaissance and Dark Age stuff, absolutely. Special obsession of mine. smile I can't wait for May! I love dressing up and just walking around and having fun! Watching the jousting and the live chess match are probably my favorite things to do. Here we have the Castel Gwyn, which is actually the house of the guy that owns the land that the Faire is held on every year. He's used millions of dollars to build a totally awesome castle, and he and his wife live there! Makes me so jealous EVERY year, going to see it. I wanna live in a castle!!! Hehehe. He has their bedrooms all roped off, but you can get a tour of the kitchen, which has a bunch of really cool brick arches, and an upper room in one of the towers (!?!?!?! Is that not SO cool or what?) that has a bunch of awesome authentic artifacts, like weapons (in glass cases) and cool knight-ly stuff .... whatever it's called, lol. Anywhos .... If you haven't gathered already, I'll repeat myself ... I LOVE the Faire!

I love going to Scarbourgh Fair in Waxahachie, TX- but I haven't been able to go in almost 14 years its in town now I don't think we'll be able to go (cost too much) That's ok I won't be poor forever!! heart heart
