anyway i live in japan, but am american, and love fantasy and scifi...
i am currently attempting to write a book using the plot of the revolutionary war and fantasy creatures, should be fun.
i love C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien most of all but robert jordan is also really good...

Hobbies: Reading, writing, thinking and being (exactly what it says on my profile). Oh, and music. I compose and listen to it a lot. Classical and contemporary are both good, but don't even try to get me to listen to anything 'preppy' or over-commercialised.
Something interesting: ...you know, I've met lots of authors, but never a fantasy author, (unlike the two here who've met Tamora Pierce - you lucky people!). I've met Scot Gardner, though, and his publisher is Garth Nix's wife...
Favorite colour: Mostly dark colours, though I'm a fan of a nice darkish red (as you may be able to tell from my avatar).
location: Australia. No, I don't eat kangaroo sausages (someone always seems to want to know that) and no, I don't even live in the outback or say "G'day, mate" a lot. My parents are migrants, so that might have something to do with it.
