Tsunade = Orochimaru Orochimaru > Kakashi therefor: Tsunade > Kakashi. biggrin Tsunade isn't better than Orochi, Orochi had his arms sealed at the time, he would've slaughtered her if it wasnt for Sarutobi =O I think you should look at those friendly little math symbols I used again. Beause I never said Tsunade was better than Orochimaru. I said she was equal. and I tell you again, she's not equal.

I said she was equal. she's not equal......she's not way below him, but she's not equal.....Orochi is the strongest of the 3, but putting Tsunade and Jiraiya together against him like last time would definately make things harder for him The point of the sanin is that they're evenly matched. Orochimaru has the cunning plans, Jiraiya has brute strength, and Tsunade can't die. Before you call me on this: Jiraiya has brute strength in terms of jutsus and abilities. Tsunade has brute strength, but in the same way Sakura does. She still needs to lie back and wait rather than rush in and kick a**. she CAN die (of course after putting one hell of a fight).

Juuyonbi_No_Peko_=3 she CAN die (of course after putting one hell of a fight). Of course she can die. But her techniques all focus on canceling that out. Basicaly, she heals too fast for her opponents to be able to kill her, and she thus has the time to kill them. Seriously, though, as Verd said, the whole point of the sanin is thay they're equals. They're like rock/paper/scisors. Exactly like that, in fact, since they're summons and their powers are bassed off the old Chinese triangle of slug, frog, and snake (which was, in fact, their version of rock, paper, scissors): Snake cancels out frog. Frog cancels out slug. Slug cancels out snake. If you want, you can read about it here.

Sakura PWNs Sasuke... If Sakura ends up defeating Sasuke then it'd be ******** up...

Team 7 is based off of the sanin, but in a way to show how they're repeats of what came before. The game and story only work with the sanin. Tsunade's regeneration is used until she turns it off, basically. Whenever she's hit, she automatically heals. That's why she can't die in battle. When she turns it off, she has to look like an old woman (much older than 50), because the cell regeneration jutsu sucks the life out of her. Yeah. There's been some emphasis put on how, though Naruto and co are very similar to the original sanin, there are some major differances. Doesn't Jiraya comment on how he gave up on Orochimaru when Oroci went evil, but that Naruto doesn't? That alone might be enough. Also, don't forget that Tsunade became jaded because of the death of her lover and her little brother. That hasn't happened to Sakura. And Sasuke is revenge driven, which is slightly different than what happened to Orochimaru.

Exactly. The sanin team grew up during a different time under different circumstances. Even though Jiraiya is the Naruto of the team, he doesn't have the whole Kyuubi thing to set him back or shape his personality. Tsunade wasn't wildly crushing on Orochimaru and as you said, lost two people she loved the most. And of course, Orochimaru is more of a huge a*****e than Sasuke could ever hope to be.

so... this has what to do w/ chapter 322? lol i think shikamaru is gonna freeze kakuzu and hidan simultaneously if he hasnt already... i wasnt really paying attention. when he does (after hidan does the curse thing) he has hidan/kakuzu go up to each other, forces hidans body to curse kakuzu and they all die (shikamaru cuts off his own head or something which kills kakuzu and makes it so kakashi can work his mangekyou magic on hidans head or something)
