"If he was a celebrity or something at least he'd be flesh and blood." I've said that before. Pretty much those exact words.
It's also - love - a strong feeling when there's nothing to compare it to. Or if there is something, then it can make it stronger. Both ways work and depend on the person and their situation... Love is a strong emotion about someone. Someone that has a personality that you like and looks (because it does play a role) and everything rolled into one and other such things. And, I think many people feel love differently (or the feeling of being in love, as it were) so it's hard for someone to say, "You can't feel _X_ way!" Because, you know your feelings best - whether they do or don't make sense...
^.^ It's a very nice excerpt... At least, I liked it and I liked the emotion it showed. Naw. I have no reason to say such things like that. And yeah, you can "just find someone else." It's hard to argue that statement to some one who doesn't get it - when basing it off of a fictional character, but it's true that it's not something you can "just do" or "undo" the same way it is with a real person.
3nodding I don't think I know anyone that's fallen for any of the Naruto characters to that extent - besides yourself - but I have seen them from other series'. Which never really struck me as odd. Not to that extent.
Well, one reason I mentioned not speaking of him was to prevent any misunderstanding or such to happen. Know what I mean? Because of how you feel and all.
Love... Love is a very complicated thing.
I do wish you the best of luck with handling the emotions and the next steps.
Doesn't feel right. Fangirls are just fans. They love them, but not that way. Heh. But as Hideki says, I like to think his heart beats inside me. However, I can only believe THAT fantasy for so long. Heh... Well, to be specific, I'll say his looks don't exactly have NO role in my feelings about him, but I find other characters particularly more attractive. But yeah. People don't know how I'm feeling. To describe it sounds almost poetic; Icy but warm. Exciting yet mundane. Strange yet familiar. Thanks. I really like Shakespeare. Yeah. I'm so glad you see it that way. Because you're the first. Everyone else says I'm crazy or something... that I have issues... and I know I DO, but... I don't think those issues effect who I love. Heh... Naruto REALLY is a KID'S manga... I don't know what drew me to such an extent. Admitting it feels funny. I don't like it much. But if I don't come to grips with it I can never fix it. Yeah. I get what you're saying. But I think I have an overall understanding now. We all love the Naruto characters. Just not all of them... that way. >_>;; It really is. That's why it's hard. It's like untangling a mile long rope. Heh, thanks. I'm going to NEED that luck. Because honestly I don't know what to do. And this is news to me. I'm usually the problem-solver in any situation.

Shikalee A very logical person, I am someone who likes practical and scientific solutions. You are not logical. You have a crush on a comic book character. It's hard to discuss this because it's not really possible to argue about love, just like it's not really possible to argue about God.

I've been bashed over and over again for probably a good 6 months now. And now, I just frankly don't care. I know what I'm going through is reasonable. It's not crazy or deranged or blind. It just is, and I'm dealing with it. I'm not in denial and by no means do I intend to hold onto this any longer.

What was the reson for the last delayed chapter, out of curiousity?I believe Kishimoto opened a spot for a new series to be introduced. I could be wrong... there's been a lot of delays more recently. On occasion, a manga will make way for a different series to pop into place. I don't see a distinct pattern, so I think it's a matter of who wants to be delayed that week. >_<;

Eh. -shrugs- I think people need to open their minds more to different possibilities. Just because you don't believe it, doesn't mean someone else doesn't. Or feels it or what have you. And, I think it makes sense that someone can feel feelings (light or strong) for a fictional character. Even to the point of young children crushing on their favourite fictional character. Eh.
*nods* I got into the Naruto series hard. For me, a lot of it is something that I'm passionate about (even something so simple as "fighting for someone you love" or rather "protecting that special someone")... so it hit a core with me as far as the series goes.
^^' Yeah, something like that ;D
Untangline a mile long rope covered that's tangled with other things beyond just itself...
I... I don't know. Because, it's not something that just goes away upon wanting it. People CAN fall out of love, though. But, it takes numerous things and it varies per person... So... there's no one answer, I don't think. And for now, I don't think I can add anything else ^^'

How does emotion relate to logic? God ahead. Do it. Explain YOUR logic. Emotion + WHAT = Non logical? And it that something is fictional characters, SUPPORT your observation with EVIDENCE, because your opinion does not dictate what is and is not logic. What is my logic is vastly different than your own. This was discussed throughly in my TOK class. Logic is different per individual based on experience and knowledge. Logic plus emotion equals reason, and to have a valid reason, in all due respect, is to be correct. To be correct is not to be one answer, unless the circumstances call for such. To call someone illogical simply because you do not like them is not logical. Therefore, you're a hypocrite.
