That's why jaws dropped. And everyone was shocked. ''Looking at you head-bands reminds me of the first Konoha Shinobi I fought, Shodaime that is.'' I don't think he says he killed Shodaime at all, he just says he fought against him, we dont know wether he got beated up or Shodaime got beated up. *sigh* It appears as though I made a mistake the first time I read it. See, I thought this guy was the first Hokage. He does resemble him, somewhat. Or maybe he resembles the second? See, I'm not an obsessive twit when it comes to Naruto facts, so when it comes to the first and second Hokage, I get lost. [Link]But I've come to realize that Hitai-Ate looks like it is from Sunagakure. I made that conjecture based off the fact in that very panel he also said, "All I need to survive is to tear the still-beating hearts out of strong Shinobi." Could that be Background Ninja 13 =OOO? That was just a demo of what he does to tear the heart from the foe. Hoshee. We don't know that. A demo is usually in a clear hypothetical standpoint and in Kishimoto's work they're usually chibi. xd Ok, that was just once, in what other fight there were chibies?

No. Demos have occured many times. Kakashi teaching Naruto how to run up trees, Sakura explaining Kakashi's attack on their first meeting, Temari explaining Kage Mane, someone explaining Tayuya's jutsu... Oh, when Shikamaru drew out their plans... when Gai explained the difference between gentle and iron fist... When Kidoumaru explained Byakugan... I know there's more, but they're not ALWAYS chibis. I said usually. But demos are ALWAYS very clear, separated from the battle at hand, in their own subsection.
