I think he is a Vampire.
Cuz Chairman Cross tried to teach Yuuki how to call him "Daddy" and Kaname randomly popped up and said "You have to convince her first that your not a Vampire" whee !

No, I don't know what sub you read but it's more like "You have to be accepted as a normal human first." Kaname said that because Chairman is weird heart Imagine calling Chairman "Daddy"...He fails at being normal. I like him though.

I remember that! Wasn't that an extra? I thought it was hilarious.... blaugh

Maybe he's a Damphir. I think he's human but either is a servant to the vampire royal bloodlines or he's a former hunter that decided killing vampires wasn't the way to go. Either way he's more than meets the eye. The flaky seemingly carefree demeanor is what gives him away.

-When you said that extra had something about Mr. Headmaster not fitting in, it meant about his feminine attitude, like a momfather thing. He had to prove he was man enough to be called Daddy.
-Zero doesn't like Mr.Headmaster I belive is because he also has that akward femine side to him, that REALLY freaks him out. Otherwise, maybe Toga the vampire hunter had something to do with it...which goes to my third opinion...
-I think there is alot of tention between Mr.Headmaster and Toga because I think they might have been friends that were vampire hunters at one point, until some absolutely shocking event made Mr.Headmaster have a change of heart. Toga probably didn't like this and they probably had a huge fight. Mr. Headmaster was probably a hunter, changed heart, Toga didn't like it, now they hate each other, so Zero probably feels the same way as his mentor, Toga.
I hope this clarifies SOMETHING!

Also, you CAN see Mr. Sexypants, I mean...Mr. Headmaster's neck in vol. 1, before yuki gives Zero the choclate with that whole scene of Zero struggling down the hall!

I'm not exactly sure anymore... You do see his neck in volume one, but his uncanny attitude... Love the guy, but I'm suspicious... If he is a vampire, and the theory of his lover being human HAS to be true...
But that's just my thought.
