Heh, oddly enough my first song was either Homesick at Space Camp or Chicago Is So Two Years Ago, but I didn't like them at the time. It was before FUTCT came out and my friend was playing TTTYG on her CD player and she played it for me, and I was just kind of like, ehh, whatever. Then I heard the singles from FUTCT and I was like, Woah, flashback. I didn't actually start liking them, though, until after the Sugar We're Goin Down craze, probably b/c it was so overplayed.
And now, those two songs I absolutely love!! <3 biggrin

My first was played for me by a friend it was Chicago is So Two Years Ago and I didn't like it at first but then I heard Sugar We're Going Down and liked that one and was informed it was the same band. Go figure.

Mine was Sugar, We're Going Down, like most people. I remember thinking Patrick looked like the guy that played Starbuck in the made-for-TV version of Moby d**k, cuz of the sideburns. Charming little song, but it got horribly overplayed. Not to mention it fits into Pachabel's Rant.
