Hmmm not a big fan of much Hmong music today. I think it's a bit annoying, and the dances? My god... I wanna try that xD. jk
I'm just going to put some examples in parenthesis I think i listen to too much music anyways.
Ummm... Real Hip Hop (Lupe Fiasco, Nujabes), Punk Rock (Relient K, We the Kings), Korean? (Big Bang, Epik High razz ), JRock (Alice 9), Rock in general (A7X, AAR, Metallica?, Red Jumpsuit Ap.), Acoustic (Secondhand Serenade, punk acoustic songs, etc.), Trance/Breakbeats (DJ Tiesto, DJ Babyboi, DJ Photik, etc.), Electronica/Rock (Metro Station, The White Tie Affair), and R&B (Deepside, Varsity, Dontae Peeps, Craig David, Shayne Ward, etc.), and sometimes Hyphy/Radio music (The Pack, Akon).
I'm not a big fan of Lil Wayne or much radio music. It's always about the same crap. *Sigh* I guess there's become so much music, pretty much everything has become cliche in their own ways. And most rappers are stealing lines from each other to promote themselves, but really it's making them look like copiers. Like seriously... I hate when I hear nearly the same line in a song I heard before. Why is everyone rapping about "Swagger" and "Patron"? Why is it that I hear the word "b***h" in almost every song about women? And this case isn't just in Rap and Hip Hop. It plauges love songs and pop music too. Why did the Pussycat Dolls steal the word "linger" from "Big Girls Don't Cry" by Fergie? Music is so lost right now, so I go to seek salvation. Seriously, I think we as people need to make a change in the crappy music we hear today. Atleast back then about 10 years back and before that, were much more original and sung about things that mattered. And really, people are hating each other because of what they listen to. I mean really, Rock and R&B aren't that much different. Trance and Screamo can put the same effect on two different people. Should we really be judged by what kind of music we enjoy? "Oh he listens to screamo, he must cut himself." "Oh she listens to rap, she's a gangster, keep away she might bust a cap in your head!" I mean really? :
Sorry if I took up a lot of your time if you're reading this lol. Music is just something sensitive to me.
