Aaliyah smoothed out her fur as she walked towards the wazzit temple. Her brother being of wazzit decent had wanted for quite sometime to visit this temple, but him being the quiet type had never found the courage to go himself, so this day she had promised to take him. However he had left early and told her he would meet her. So here she was, brushing down her fur and smoothing out her hair, all at the same time with her two different set of arms.
As Aaliyah walked, half concentrating on cleaning herself, she noticed, not to far off, a male, sitting. He seemed content in most things, but something on the air made her think there was more to that then just what met her eye.
She came up slowly, so not to disturb him. "Is this the right path that leads to the wazzit temple?"

Deep in thought, Malachi didn't notice the female until she spoke, and was nearly upon him. He startled somewhat, glancing up quickly, eye narrowing in suspicion before realizing the question that was asked.. He blinked slowly, only taking the time to notice her multiple arms, not noticing her beauty at the moment, before he simply nodded. Then he realized, most suddenly, that there was a strong aura around the female. He took another look at her, then stood, eyes paying a bit more attention at he bowed politely, letting his gaze wonder over her, taking her in more fully. She was a goddess, one he had not seen before, but a goddess none the less.
"Goddess... I apologize if i seemed rude.." He nodded, noting that she was, in fact, beautiful, but not something he noticed for himself, more as a side note, he was, after all, a broken ex-angelique. "My name is Malachi, and if it is the Temple of Wazzits and Elements you seek, this is in fact, the correct path." He stood, glancing about slightly before nodding to himself, it would be the only acceptable thing, he would offer to escort her. "If you might welcome a guardian on your journey to this unfamiliar temple?" He adjusted his sash, looking at her calmly, it was only his nature to be a protector.

Aaliyah shook her head and gave a soft smile, reaching out a single paw to Malachi, her other three tucking into her chest. "No offense taken Malachi. My names Aaliyah." She gave a soft bow of her head, then looked off into the distance, a thoughtful look crossing her face. "A guardian would be a delightful addition to my journey." She lowered her eyes to make eye contact. "As short as it may be."

His expression was bland, not much of an expression at all as she bowed her head, just slightly. He brushed his claws through his wonderfully messy hair, then froze, his eyes turned toward the temple. He closed them for a moment before turning back to look at her.. Up at her.. He raised a brow, was she teasing him?
"'Short'? I am of average size, thank you very much." He nodded sternly, his tail flicking, his large claw twitching before a slight smirk appeared on his lips. "Not all of us are as gigantically tall as.. Some faes in this realm.." His smirk grew as he turned from her, flicking a claw to motion for her to follow as he headed down the path, his eyes wondering slightly.

Aaliyah withdrew her clawed hand and tentatively tapped it to her lip, now lacing each hand together and holding them in front of her lightly, walking at a leisurely pace. Paying heed not to keep up with the angelic before her. She was after all a goddess, if he was to escort her, he would do so with manners. But, if he knew none, she wasn't about to correct him either. She was not her mother, nor her brother.
"I was not making a jest at your height, as I am sure, you were not... of mine." Her words seemed harsh, but her voice was light and teasing. "I referred to how short your guardianship would be, as I think I am not to far from the temple."
She seemed suddenly doubtful and her brow creased as she looked to the wazzit before her. "Pardon me if this seems... forth coming, and a little out of place for first meetings, but, do I know you from someone. Should I know you? You seem, very, again, pardon me for prying, but you're more then just a follower here, you're more then mortal. But to place my finger on where in these realms you belong is beyond me. Which isn't saying a lot at how new I am."
She wet her lips looked bashful for a moment. "Again, I apologize if you wish not to answer, you will not offend this goddess."

Malachi was already mentally berating himself for the slip. But, though he was doing this, he was also paying close attention to the Goddess behind him. His ears swiveled, and he kept pace with her, only staying a few meters before her, giving her space, along with the comfort of his guardianship. He simply nodded at her comment, boding his head slightly, his shoulders slouching a bit from their recently erect state.
His ears perked slightly as she spoke again, slightly surprised. He took a step to the side of the path, letting her catch up with him, and walking, just behind her now, off from her right shoulder, as, of course, it would be unheard of to walk beside a Goddess as a guardian.
He cleared his throat and sighed softly, this was most obviously a touchy subject with the Wazzit Angelic. "My name, is Malachi. In this temple, I am nothing but a visitor, and follower. I was once the Angelique of the Goddess of Zamphires, but I displeased her. I am now a broken Angelic..." He nodded, feeling that was explanation enough. He straightened once more, bowed to the Goddess, and took up his place once more, before the Goddess, keeping watch over her as they continued on the path, he knew they were almost there.

Aaliyah sighed a great heave. She had not meant to bring up any hurt filled thoughts. It was not her job or duty to hurt, she was a guider. She help people along their paths, helping them find happiness with what they had. She turned her head to the side a little as she held back to the urge to apologize once more. If her was her, she would have her speech for a month. A goddess never apologized. She was always right, but Aaliyah knew the feeling of loneliness and did not enjoy it.
"I remember hearing about your situation. It doesn't happen often, so when it does, everyone hears of it." She lifted a paw towards Malachi but lowered it. He seemed aware of his role next to a goddess, and as much as Aaliyah enjoy contact, both physical and emotional. She knew it was not in her place to offer a hug. He was broken and all she could do was offer guidance, as was her nature.
"I don't see how you could displease her Malachi... you seem everything a goddess could want." She had recognized his physical charm until now, but it would have happened eventually. He was a stunning feast for the eyes. And having only one of good use she adored anything that was a feast for the eyes. Suddenly she became self conscious of how ugly she must appear. One eye, four arms, she lowered her head and a whisper took to the air. It was her brothers name. He had gained the looks in the family, he had even already found someone to love. She never would, she was, to strange.
"But I don't wish to talk about something that upsets you, so please, don't feel pushed to tell me anything you don't care to." Her words were a soft whisper. She would have stopped talking altogether if Malachi knew sign language. But, she doubted he did.

Malachi sighed softly, her words were so gentle, something he didn't feel he deserved. He cracked his knuckles noisily, a habit of his, then flinched slightly as he realized what he was doing. Dropping his paws to his sides he continued to listen to her. He was grinding his teeth together at this point, he didn't need or want her to feel sorry for him. He didn't want her pity, or anyone else's.
His tail flicked sharply behind him, he was an ebil being after all, but he knew his place, he would not speak of his anger, or show more than a lash of his tail. His bright eyes darted about naturally, ears flicking and swiveling to listen of noise. All of this was not needed though, with their journey nearly over, he doubted anything would happen.
When she spoke of displeasing his one time goddess, he noticeably flinched. As a lower being, he was always in the wrong, the gods and goddesses were right, and he knew he MUST have done something wrong, why else would she just tell him to leave. She never wanted to see him again, he was not welcome on the temple grounds, though his son was. He sighed, his wings spreading and stretching before folding against his back once more, it was obvious he was now upset, and his mind was wondering from the task at hand.
When she finished about how he seemed to be everything a Goddess would want, he snapped. "Everything a Goddess would want?!" He spun on his heel, his eyes sharp, yet shining with the slight effect of unshed tears. "If that were so, I would not be broken, I would not be alone in this world, where I once was not." He snarled, his fists tightened before he suddenly realized what he had said. His eyes got huge and he dropped to one knee, bowing low, waiting for the blow he expected.
"Forgive me Goddess.. I have spoken beyond my allowance." He managed to wipe the tears that had threatened to flow from his eyes while he head was down, still awaiting her reaction to his sudden burst of anger.

Aaliyah sighed as she looked down to the broken angelic. "And what do you expect of me? Violence? Should I hit you and teach you your true place before a goddess? You kneel, but do you mean what you do before me? Do you truly display submissiveness? Or is this just a well trained reaction?" Aaliyah dabbed at the corner of her eye, slowing the slow seep of blood.
"Is this what you want? It seems to be what you ask for with your actions? Violence and dominance. I know you feel broken and tossed aside, but your not. Your not broken just dismissed from a goddess who did not see your worth any longer." Aaliyah pitied herself, and so her first reaction to all around her was pity. She would pity Malachi and he would have to accept that. If they stayed knowing each other long enough, her pity might even transform, as it did with her mothers followers. She pitied them for losing what they were use to. But then she would show them, even if they could no longer sing, they were useful and that pity would blossom into pride as the follower no longer pitied themselves and saw they were useful once more.
She eyed Malachi carefully and saw in him what she saw her mothers mortal followers. "You remind me of my mothers followers." Her words were blunt. "They are pitiful creatures, who hate themselves and look to her to fix them. She doesn't, she breaks them more, stealing away one of their sense. Then they moan about, useless hunks of flesh. Like you now, with no purpose, self piting, can't see the point to life since something was taken away. Then me and my brother help them. Show them, just because something was taken away, they aren't broken, maybe they didn't need that piece. Maybe you don't need that goddess. Maybe that's why she was taken away, to show you, show you, that you were meant for another, and a mistake was being corrected."
Aaliyah stared at Malachi and the urge to back hand him subsided. She has a wicked violent streak, but she was also a goddess, and her duties as being a goddess came first. Violence was for those that truly disrespected a god. Malachi was still dealing with what he felt was a personal betrayal.
"And you forget, no one is truly alone. You have children, I know this. You have not spoken it, but I can see it. Just as I can see more of you then you show the world." She tapped her eye patch. "Third sight is a gift granted to those that loose first sight. Maybe its what you need. To stop concentrating on what is before you here, and what is truly about you."
The goddess looked up and saw the temple before her, but on the breeze she could not feel that light tingle that was her brother. Not yet.
"Keep me company guardian. Until my other escort arrives." Her words were firm. Not a question but an order. She looked to Malachi once more dabbing at the blood running down her face.

Malachi's head stayed down during the beginning of her speech, he heard the annoyance in his voice, but it wasn't at what he had expected it to be. His shoulders flinched a few times, his back curved as he waited. He continued to listen, not expecting anything she had to say.
He was submissive, he had grown to be that way with Vesira, he was her servant, nothing more, he was starting to realize that, even if she hadn't given him her heart, he had torn her own in two. he had thought she felt the same way about him, cared as he cared for her, but it was becoming obvious that that had not been the truth. His paws curled into fists as he stared at the ground, the tears threatening once more, he was hurt, and though he still considered himself broken, he further considered himself the one hurt from this, the wronged party.
He barely heard what she was saying at this point, something about violence, and dominance.. That was the truth, it was his place as an angelic to serve the gods, to do as they pleased. Tossed aside, that was correct as well, like a dirty rag, never to be picked up again. Vesira did not see his worth. He did everything she said, learned everything about her and the race she was Goddess of.
He flinched as he was compared to mortals, this was obviously not a compliment for him. He lifted his head, after once more wiping his eyes, a glare was fuse onto his face, but it was obvious it was not anger toward him, at this moment, it was at the Goddess who had tossed him aside, not caring if it hurt him so.
He shook his head slightly as he stood before her once more, straightening himself, he felt new, like he had grown. He was still broken, he still wasn't whole, but it was true, he wasn't alone, he still had his son to take care of, and two other wonderful children that he should visit soon. There was no reason for Srets to not see his mother as well.
Nodding, Malachi brushed his claws through his hair. He seemed taller, stronger, then he wondered, turning his attention back to her, raising a brow and cocking his head slightly.. How had she done this? How did she cause such a reaction in him when no one else could, neither the Angelique or the Goddess of this temple had caused such a reaction in him.
He shook his head, tossing aside the idea that was forming in his head. He was broken, and it was just her gift as Daughter to the Goddess of Handicaps, of which he was now sure, after what she had just spoken about. He nodded once more to himself, it was only her way, her gift, as she said, she and her brother had both been the ones to help faes realize the gift of their disability.
He turned to look at her once more as she spoke again. "Of course, Goddess." He nodded, looking at her for a moment more. "Is there a certain place you wish to visit?"

It was the whisper of Kally in her that made Aaliyah finally reach out and brush at the Angelic's cheek. Her mother was a kind creature who had no want in the world more then to fix each child in it. His tears had been seen, rolling down his dark cheeks, even with the goddess miles away. Aaliyah angrily shook her head, she felt her mother, playing her like a marionette doll for a moment, making her touch Malachi against her will but as she felt the warm touch of tears on her fingers, she softened a little. Her mothers touch disappeared and left Aaliyah alone within her own mind, hand gently stroking down Malachi's face.
Her hand twitched, as if it touching Malachi burned her and she slowly pulled the tips of her fingers off his face, to hover for a moment. She lowered her head and brought her hand into her chest, wrapping it up in the other three paws.
"That was out of line. Even as a Goddess, I know that was inappropriate. I shouldn't take advantage of you..." Her eyes grew dark and she raised her head. Again, apologizing, she had to fix that. She had to grow a back bone and realize a god was never in fault. She sighed a soft exhale of breath and behind her, her large pink wings unfurled and stretched, giving a few quick strokes, billowing her white hair up about her in a gust of wind. Her family would recognize Aaliyah's nervous habit for what it was. She was a little befuddled with this angelic. He was the first non mortal she had ever met and she felt she was just exasperating everything with him. If it wasn't for her demanding he stay and keep her company she was sure he would have left her. Scared off by her seemingly split personalities. She wrapped her wings back up, tight to her back and began smoothing out her hair.
"Take us somewhere calm and quiet that I can enjoy the quiet time away from my mothers temple. Somewhere we can be alone and undisturbed."

He barely realized she was reaching toward him before her paw was upon his cheek. Without realizing it, he was also tipping his head against the touch, feeling a warmth, a tenderness, he wasn't used to, never expected. It scared him how comfortable he actually was with the touch.
He stared at her as her hand twitched, did it pain her so to touch him? He clenched his jaw, what was he thinking? He simply stared back at her, his body erect, arms at his sides. His eyes stared into her singular eye, barely noticing the slow drip of blood from it's corner, it was a beautiful thing, that grey eye. As she pulled away, he longed to reach toward her, but quickly caught that thought from going further.
He blinked, pulling his gaze from her, taking a slightly wobbled step back as she apologized. He looked up at her again at this, confused. Why was she apologizing, she had not harmed him, and she was a Goddess, by definition, she could do no wrong. "Goddess.." He was about to speak softly, almost tender, but yet again, caught himself. Why? He shook his head slightly, as if to clear it, confused by these turns of events.
He watched her many hands, then her wing, yet again, wondering at how beautiful she really was. How had he not noticed before this very moment? He tugged at the chain on his ear, thinking to himself as he watched her, why was he watching her still? He shook his head once more, clicking two claws together, his own wings stretching then folding once more.
He realized then, if she hadn't spoken for him to stay, and if she hadn't told him to leave her, he wouldn't. He enjoyed being her company, her guardian for the moment. He looked her over once more before nodding, he knew just the place.
"Of course, Goddess. Please, follow me.." He turned and started off slowly, a comfortable pace, the silence stretching between them, a most uncomfortable feelings. His cheek felt like ti was burning, but not a painful burn.
It didn't take long at all the circle part way around the temple grounds, and find the place he was looking for. It was a secluded oasis. A wonderful mixture of earth element and water. It was secluded, circled by the forest around, with a small spring, filled by clear blue water. A small waterfall splashed and gurgled softly. He made is way over to a patch of green grass unto a large tree, smiling slightly to himself, then glancing back at her. "Clam, quiet. A wonderful place I come to be alone, and undisturbed." He nodded slightly, looking around.

Aaliyah saw the wobbled step, saw the way his body seemed stiffer, his breathing change, the soft way he called her goddess, but she couldn't bring herself to continue with what she wanted to do to him. She had to have constrain, will power. She held her head high but felt her heart flutter within her chest as a small secretive smirk formed on her lips. She closed her eyes and enjoyed the single image that flashed before her minds eyes, but the quickly wiped it away as Malachi spoke. She looked to him and wet her lips.
She found herself sitting beside the water, legs slipping beneath her as she knelt, back straight as she tried to appear prim and proper, after such an inappropriate thought and action. She dipped one of her paws into the cool water and began making small waves. She smiled up at Malachi and sighed, letting her shoulders roll backwards and allowing her back to slouch, relaxing finally.
"It's perfect." she purr, the words a roll off her tongue. She tucked back a piece of hair and chewed on her lip. "It's very rarely I ever let myself slip, and just relax. There are always eyes on me at the temple. Eyes that watch and judge me. Here, it feels safe to let myself go, enjoy myself. Please do the same. Here, in this spot I am Aaliyah, here we can just be, let all that not matter anymore. Treat me like you would if you were mortal and I was."
Behind her her tail wrapped forward over her lap, like a large blanket, covering her legs as she allowed herself to slip them out from under her and rest on her hip. One of her paws took up a long strand of her hair and began to twirl it.
"I teach sign language for my mother, as well tend to the gardens. My favorite food is miso soup, with just the perfect amount of sea weed." She purred out a soft Mmmm. "Other then that, I find myself to busy to enjoy much. I am here today not even because of myself. I am here for my brother, who has found a dark angelic he wishes to mate to for life, and he wanted to visit other temples to see how they work, in case he should open one himself for him and his mate. But he tends to be shy..." She smiled, finding it easy to talk to Malachi, finding it enjoyable to have some besides family to talk to.

Malachi was surprised at how forward she was suddenly. He watched her sit straight, then continued to watch as her form seemed to change, become even more beautiful, if that was possible. Relaxed, with a content look on her face.. It was a wonderful sight, and he found himself sitting down beside her, settling comfortably.
He listened to her speak, blinking something. Just be? He took a deep breath, rolling his shoulders back, then letting them relax and slouch slightly, crossing his legs comfortably, watching her waves for a moment before leaning back on his paws, stretching his legs before him, closing his eyes and smiling, then slowly lying back completely.
Aaliyah.. What a beautiful name.. And it really was. He smiled, happy and content, to finally know her name. He had fallen out of the loop of Gods and Goddesses lately, which was never a good thing for an angelic.
He blinked and looked up at her as she spoke once more. Sign language... Gardening.. Miso Soup with Seaweed... He couldn't help but laugh softly. Shaking his head he closed his eyes, folding his hands behind his head, tail flicking across the grass beside him.
"Let's see... I don't do much of anything around here.. I haven't been of much use actually.." He sat up, leaning on her paws as he looked over the water quizzically, as if he suddenly realized something. "I've been living here for a little while now.. I don't think I could tell you exactly how long my son and I have been living here.. I really don't do anything.. but sit with Srets, and take long walks..." He blinked.. He really was just a burden at this place.. Why were they putting up with him? He wouldn't.. The more he thought about it, he was a bum..
He sighed, falling back once more, holding his head in his hands. Why did everything have to be so clear all of a sudden?

Aaliyah raised a brow as he admitted how he was worthless, a bum really and she gave him a sad smile, not of pity, he was understanding things he probably had just never thought to think of himself. She brushed at his hair, enjoying the soft silken feeling and then rest her paw close to his head.
"It's hard to find a new purpose for life when your only purpose was torn away." She laughs softly, a sad chuckle. "But you do have to keep looking for something. Find something that makes you happy, concentrate on getting things back on track. Raising children, learning to fish; hunting I hear is a great past time. And then, when you are happy with your life, someone else will come along. Because they know, when and only when, your life is near perfect, its time to come and complete you. Someone that makes you whole, not that you aren't whole." She gave a nervous laugh. "But makes you feel, more, makes things feel better, even though they felt amazing to began with. Oh, and when they kiss you, sparks, you know for sure its for real, when they kiss you and it tingles, to your toes."
Aaliyah got a far away look in her eyes as she sighed again. "There is someone in this world for everyone. And, when she left you, it was because that someone wasn't you, but that shouldn't hurt you. You should be happy, there is someone new out there, that will be more of your complete and total perfect match." Aaliyah beamed happily for a second, eyes fluttering closed as she imagined how that would feel and when she opened her eyes she was staring down at Malachi.
"But then again, I'm a hopeless romantic that believes in love at first kiss..." She shrugged. "You can tell me I am full of s**t now if you want." She laughed and brushed at his hair again.
