Vampire Kisses? You Suck? Wereling? Blue Bloods? Tithe?

Midnighters is an amazing series but not as good as Twilight. It's not about vampyres though. Here's the summary:

Jessica moves to this new town and meets this group of people. After, she starts having weird dreams. Turns out that these aren't dreams, they are actually a whole nother hour in the day. The group she meets also exist in the secret hour.

I relly recomend it even though it's not about vampyres.

I loved anything by Scott Westerfeld and the Tithe series by Holly Black. The thing about Scott Westerfeld is he seems to be able to write a story about anything, from post-apocalypse civilization, to vampires, and then a story about a group trying to bring down the advertising hierarchy. And it doesn't matter what he writes about, I can't put it down. Holly Black, on the other hand, wrote this amazing 3 part series of books on what I picture the life of a faerie would really be like in this day and age. Very gritty, dark, but beautiful at the same time, and so different. Two great recommendations while we're waiting on our pre-orders. blaugh

I must say Blue Bloods and the following novel Masquerade was interesting enough- I'm kind of hoping there will be more coming the in the near future.

Never read Blood and Chocolate but I hear they murdered the book with the movie..
