I must admit that I chuckled the first time, but it's just infuriating now.

x-Iris_Rain-x That commercial really annoys me. stare But the thing that scares me the most is that the girl's mother actually knows what she's saying. gonk I swear, I think our world is coming to an end. Seriously! I agree! 3nodding But still, that commercial kind of makes me want to laugh at the same time! I guess it's just 'cause it's so ridiculous...

I hate that commercial. What I hate even more is that my friends think it's "funny". Watching a little girl destroy the King's English is not funny. >>;

Shadows Kade I've watched the commercial, and it really annoys me to hear "txt tlk" actually spoken. I have to deal with it everyday though, because kids at my school go around talking like that. Instead of laughing they "lol" and when they go somewhere they literally say "brb". stare I admit that I do tend to say "OMG" a lot, but never anything else.

I laughed thinking about how it proves how crazy chat talk has gotten.

What's with all this texting?""Omg, Inbd.""It is a big deal. Who can you be texting 50 times a day?""Idk. My bff Jill?""Tell your bff Jill I'm taking away your phone.""Tisnf!""Me paying this bill, that's whats sn...f!"^^I didn't understand anything the daughter said in that commercial, and if I hadn't looked at it the second time it came on than I still wouldn't know^^

That commercial makes me sad. Every time I see it, I think of what the world is coming to. What's sad is that there are subtitles at the bottom of the freakin' screen. Has anyone else noticed that? And the subtitles are in chatspeak! That just pisses me off. God, why can't people just spell out their words...or at least talk with some amount of grammar?

Oh my God, I hate that commercial so much! *strangles random bystander* I scream every time it comes on, and my parents give me the weirdest looks. I want to punch that little girl and scream, "b***h, we speak English in this house!"
I've come to the realization that I should never have children. xd

I Love It!
Me and my friend now only answer dumb questions with "IDK, my BFF Jill?"
It's just for fun. But seriously, it was supposed to make fun of them. At least, that's the effect it seems to have on people that I have observed.

I think it's cute. The actors seemed really into it. It's a fun commercial. But, I think if my little starts talking that way I'll blow a hole through our roof. . . right after I strangle her and tell her to speak English. gonk I'm not up to date on my txt talk!!!

My first reaction was to--someone shoot met--"lol."
My second was to weep over the degradation of literature and speech in mankind.
The girl's like ten. I mean, I personally don't think she even needs a cell phone, let alone text messaging.
But that's far from the point.
I think it's a good show of how American society is nowadays. Hate to mention it, kids, but us Grammarians are a dying race.
I guess all I can do is to--figuratively, of course--stand over the ashes of the world with grammar and laugh my heart out.

I swear, the first time I saw that commercial (actually I heard it from my room and went out to see it in the living room...), I was about to puke. I stood there for literally 5 minutes after the commercial in awe. My brother was laughing because he knew that crap freakin' drives me INSANE. evil
