First off, I'd level the horizon. The upward curve on the right makes it alittle awkward. xp
I really like the shape that you have on the left! 3nodding It's a strong, interesting shape, and leaves a lot of potential to be something really neat. I'm assuming it's a building of sorts, right? surprised Before you get right into detailing it, I suggest that you rough out some more shapes like these to put into the foreground, middleground, and background, to make sure you get some balance. Right now your foreground's got a canvas, which is cool, the midground has that building, but your background is lacking something. Maybe you could put a moutain, plateau, city, you name it! I really like that interesting texture you got with the sky, some real nice colors too. 3nodding
EDIT: Also, think about what objects you put into that could really help tell the story. Post-Apoc? Maybe you can have something burning in the far distance? Think about what would make the object that the hero's painting interesting enough to paint. Use this train of thought to help your piece! :]

3nodding you've got a lot of good critique here
razz just put some of it into practice and post again with your progress. It'll be fun seeing your artwork evolve o.o and watching the artist's process!

MS Paint? um... how do i put it in ms paint though... sweatdrop i tried the gaia art tutorials but then the tutorials were using photoshop and other things.

Art programs aren't necessary to scan things. Usually they come with their own program. Do you have it? If not, have you tried googling the brand name and model type? Sometimes you can find the program or drivers you need at the brandname's website. 3nodding

surprised the shoulders are rather high making the figure look very uncomfortable.
:3 next time raise the head more. right now it kinda looks like the person is wearing a mask rather than that being their head.

Kangaroo S.T.U=I give youa 6/10. I think that Your sketching could do a little ork but good job smile
Mystic Sky- 6 1/2 I think you should color it in and add a little bit more, i don't know- individualality (sorry if i misspelled!)
Tchick- I love it!!! WEll, i guess i'm a kitty person ;D 7/10
rockstar2011- man if you looked at my drawings compared to yours you would think like we were the same people! I give you a 6/10
kami no wakai josei- 5 1/2. i think it's really nice but you shoudl work and not saving it a GIF or JPEG. Thta way it's not so blurry and pixel-y.
enshokukitsune- well, 4/10 because i don't really know what it is.....
XoXEmoHeffalumpXoX- 6/10 i think you just need some more practice!
xXlovennightXx- 5 because i'm not a big fan of smoking and i think you should work on your style.
mystifyingbliss- 8/10 i really like them, i like how you take so much detail into your work.
