ok so... what do you guys do when your knitting?
I have the Harry Potter audio book's on my Ipod, so I play them a lot...

I knit in front of the TV. My eyes are on my knitting (since I'm not that good at knitting yet), but I listen and sometimes look up. 3nodding

I CAN just look away and knit... but it drives my crazy and I think I'm messing up, so most of the time I look at my knitting.
but yes I to do a lot of my knitting infront of the TV.

I used to be in house keeping...and I would play them all the time. @.@
I prity much know all 6 book's by hart...yet I still love them so...why it that?

It's possible. Others could be too shy to just jump right in. sweatdrop I just bought some beautiful cashmere for 60% off at a local craft store that's closing. I'm so stubborn! It was HORRIBLY tangled in with about 15 other yarns, but I just stood there untangling until I had my skein of cashmere. xd But 60% off! Who wouldn't stand there and untangle? eek

well, i was thinking a new thread, yeah. because the front page of this one is all like "we should do this!" but we're actually doing something totally different you'd have to read through 3 pages to find. ya know?

Agreed. I just bough alot of beige cotton for 1 e (say, 1.30-ish in dollars?) a skein... Now I just have to decite where I'll use all that. Lace prolly. ninja

cashmere... never used it... and I don't know if I could bring myself to buy it unless it was on sale. how much is it when its not on sale anyways?

I think you should make the thread myself... I would be more than happy to make it myself, but I'm going to be gome a lot over the next couple of day's and I don't know when I can get on... so maybe you should jump on this one. 3nodding

cashmere... never used it... and I don't know if I could bring myself to buy it unless it was on sale. how much is it when its not on sale anyways?

The softest and most exquisitely hand-painted cashmere I ever encountered was a brand called "Great Adirondack" and it was about 100 yards for $85. It would probably have been enough to make a no-frills hat. But dear god this stuff was like petting a cloud! I've seen 100% cashmere for as low as about $30 for a small hank.

the bag is actually big enough to fit my digital camera and spare batteries for it inside. I have another two I made as well with different yarn... hang on, i'll go take pictures of them and post them too smile
