OK. I am literate, and I love anime. My favourites are InuYasha and Tokyo Mew Mew. My favourite movies are musicals...e.g. Moulin Rouge, RENT, Singin' In The Rain, Grease. I also love the 1950's. I want to make some friends who have the same interests as me and I came to this guild because it annoys me when I see people "chatting" in text talk.

Hello, one and all. I am 18 years of age and currently living in the state of Wisconsin.

The first book I read was the Dictionary. I was five years old. As a child I was catatonic and non-responsive. Doctors told my parents that I was deaf-mute. That was not the case, though.

Though around my friends, especially the ones I hold most dear, I can be a little out of hand, at times, I very much so like to take situations seriously, unless it is not called upon to do so.

I go either by the name of "Lolita," or the namesake of "Panda."

Hello, everyone. My name is Hikari, and I am sixteen years old.

Hrm... let me see. Ever since I learned how to read and write, I spent most of my time reading larger books and writing out small stories to the best of my ability. I'm told that I have a very high IQ, but some of my marks in school aren't as high as they should be because of a learning disability. I wrote a novel at one point as well. One hundred seventeen pages from front to back on looseleaf, and I lost it all.

But that's life for you, isn't it?

My dream is to learn Japanese in high school and move to Japan for/after collage.

I'm 23, going on 24 in July, and I have a hard time relating to people who use txt talk rampantly. This makes it very hard for me to join forums with people younger than me because it's practically the new social language. Between the excessive use of internet messaging and cell phone texting, I am in the dark ages spelling out all my words.

That is why I am so glad I found this guild.

My name's Kenko, I'm 21-22 in June-and I like flexing my vocabulary.

I have to concur with Tuskafel, I have a hard time co-existing with younger Gaians who don't use proper English. This isn't so much an inability to relate, as much as expecting a certain, minimal level of intelligence from people I interact with. That intelligence level is usually indicated by their ability to use the English language well.

I'm of the opinion that there is a time and a place for "TXT TLK," however that time isn't all the time.

Hello all. I go by the name of 'Doom' which I had since I were 13 years of age. I have just recently turned 20 years old about a week ago or so (my B-Day was on April 10th). As for my interests; I love computers, reading, writing, and music the most. My favorite operating system is Linux due to its uniqueness. My favorite book would have to be either Paradise Lost by John Milton or The Inferno by Dante. As for my favorite type of music, it is 'Industrial music'.

I am aware that my grammar is not at all 'perfect', but I do wish to improve it; thus the main reason as to why I am here. I have learnt grammar through grade school, and after that, it is self-taught due to not having grammar class in my high school. We only had literature class, which pissed me off since I wanted to further improve my grammar skills. I also have insomnia issues as well which causes my grammar skills to go down slightly.

I know that this introduction is all over the place, but that is because I haven't written an introduction for myself for quite some time now, so sorry about that. Feel free to correct any grammatical mistakes that I make. I honestly do not mind as long as you are not being an a*****e about it.
