"Oh, yeah, out in the sticks? I hear the police couldn't find a body in that place," Jules said. "If it was a cornered mad scientist, I'd bet my left femur he gave himself last-minute enhancements. And-"
A voice in the background, and high pitched. Through the phone, it was vaguely familiar. "Hey, who are you talking to? Not many people would talk about -that- story."
"Oh, um." Now, Jule's voice was further away but Blizz would still make out the words: "Another one of my clients. He looks like a pretty cool guy."

"Hey, who are you talking to? Not many people would talk about -that- story." "Oh, um." Now, Jule's voice was further away but Blizz would still make out the words: "Another one of my clients. He looks like a pretty cool guy." I was compelled to stay silent through that conversation on the other line. Was that...? ".........." I looked over towards Tristen, looking at me, a bit dumbfounded. He knew what I was thinking at least.

This time, Jules' voice was back in full. "Yeeeah, he wants to see if you know someone named Klonoa."

"His mixed drinks is something worth coming over for, and that is to say at the least. Not to mention, a bit wise at that, despite child like demeanor." I said. "I went to him a couple of times for a bit of advice...well...whenever another friend of ours decided to be passive as all get out on me...though in retrospect, it might not have been too bad of a thing anyhow. But anyways, another story for another day. Why you ask?" I asked.

I spoke up, giving a bit of a laugh. Should have figured with him being in that part of the region he'd have at least one run in or two with Klonoa. Tristen however, despite getting the gist that it was something I knew before the reveal, this was just all weird to him. "How's Klonoa doing? Its been a while, for sure."

For a moment, Jules was quiet as Klonoa spoke. Then: "He says he'll tell you if you bring Tristen over. Shrug, I guess."

The Sableye asked Tristen as he stared at him with a devious toothy grin. "Orre region." I said to him. "Going to meet Jules and a friend of Miles's." I said to him. "Um. Tristen." Tristen spoke up to the Sableye. That toothy grin was not going over too hot with the hybrid.
