Ok, how about this, I will force choke it, or crush it's lungs, and while it is vunerable, you give it a wake up shock in the mouth. Ha ha ha, irony wink

Kaze, don't make this battle fun. This is life or death.

Honestly, if we get cornered, the guild might be forced to vote for our deaths.

And yeah... I was trying to go for a brain-dead. Mind divulging where it's brain happens to be?

Much like godzilla, its neural capacity is stored in its head. However, it has a primal chord which functions much like our brain stem in the base of the spine. Its a two brain ssytem. You stab it in the head, it still can run, attack, etc, it'll just be a wee bit stupider.

You'd have to find its lungs though. That'd work with most stuff because we know where bodyparts are located. Thgis is different. If the biochemist was smart, he'd have put the lugs like, say, where the brain should go.

Then you're in look Kaze.

But, before we do that, what should I do? Choking's all good and fine, but it's a big beast. If it learns how to choke, then we need to keep it from instantly gripping one of us. How about I hit it with more trees, or summon a rancor to distract it. I could then, say, concentrate lightening where it's heart is. If I can get through, I might trigger a heart-attack. lol

So yeah. What's the ship roster for Prefsbelt IV?

All Ys, or a X and Y mix?

I've also come to the conclusion that Zendia will call the place anything but! xd Gotta have some humor, yes?

TK-00 is the latest Sith droid in use, and a one-of-a-kind monster of torture and interrogation. If he has any superiors, it would be Lord Ferno's own HM-74.

TK-00 is the public face of Darth Sin. While the Sith Lord is saved for only the most delicate and disturbing tasks as Grand Inquisitor, TK-00 is his Hand, sent in his stead on any mission Sin deems worthy for the Sith. He is made with a unique cortosis-durasteel armor and astounding reflexes, despite his betraying appearance. He excels at the hunt and destruction of Jedi and Dark Jedi, and is programmed to be a master in the use of Djem So and Makashi, whenever his master choses to equipt him with a lightsaber.

His true calling, however, lies in Interrogation and Torture. TK-00 is sadistic to the core, and asside for the grace and respect he shows Sin, could care less about anything, droid or organic. He is programmed with an innovative software, Sith alchemized, that allows him to simulate Force Fear by transmittign a signal that triggers the fear receptors of most lifeforms, including those of Hutt lineage. He is cold, methodical, and unforgiving in his machination, enjoying most of his freetime aboard the Inquisition's torture chamber. He often uses a team of I-TO units to help with various poisons and truth serums he'd rather not employ, but his favorite tool is an electric vibro-prod. Hearing his victims scream is the closest thing he can ever come to have bliss.

Bio- Sin was born on Falleen, and discovered as a Force-sensitive by a Sith Inquisitor in the service of Emperor Palpatine. He was brought to their citadel on Prakith, and trained to be a Dark Side adept. His Imperial life almost ended, however, with the death of Palpatine and Vader over Endor. He was one of the few who stayed with the original Inquisitors, continuing his training, until the Reborn Emperor surfaced.
The Emperor later died for good, and Sin grew up, watching as his colleagues were slowly killed off. Before his own immenent death, Sin fled Prakith and went into hiding on Korriban. He stayed there for nearly twenty years, while the New Republic took over, and the Vong Wars took place.
At nearly 50, he resurfaced amidst the Second Corellian Crisis and Darth Lumiya and her apprentice Jacen. He brought the force of his knowledge out, becoming Lumiya's first Inquisitor, and her Grand Inquisitor for the remainder of the times. However, Sin was a sly one, and managed to conceal himself before the defeats of both Lumiya and Solo.
His life continued, watching the galaxy, and perfecting his techniques. During this time, he acquiring his viridian crystal, and perfected his sith alchemy. He lived in hiding, travelling occaisonally to various Sith temples on numerous worlds.
Most recently, he's returned under the New Sith Order under Darth Krayt. Working with Darth Maladi, Sin is the unofficial Grand Inquisitor of the Neo Inquirious.
He was finally killed after the Inquisition of Dathomir. Despite his best efforts, he was killed in battle by Force-Witch Kathleen.
As can be seen, he had obvious talents. He was a Force-user by heart. Force Storm. Force Crush. Force Drain. Death Field. He was nearly as powerful as Palpatine, although much less conceited and well-known. His years of solitude have made him untrusting of his comrades, but his methods are ultra-lethal. If he has a downside, it's his mediocre sabre skills. A slightly-above average knight could beat him one on one. His downfall was his duel with Kathleen; he should've just choked her to begin with.
Like Palpatine, Sin also had an acute sense of Future Vision. He forsaw his death on no less than three occaisons and avoided all, licing to the ripe age of 140. At his death, he was the oldest living Sith, and perhaps one of the most powerful in recent times. Ironic, in that he could not forsee his actual demise.
His signature skill was a perfected version of Force Scream. Unlike the self-inflicting pain of the original skill, an involutary ability roared by defeated and enraged Sith Lords, Sin could deliberately shatter anything with a Force-empowered voice as strong as a sonicboom, while at the same time using Life Drain to negate the affects to his own body. The result was an Ithorian-esque bellow strong enough to severely damage AT-IWs and enough to cause deafness in practically anything without audio defenses.
What has become of TK-00 afterwords is unknown.

Short of the ship, there's nothing really sending any warnings in my mind.
PostPosted: Fri Mar 23, 2007 7:32 pm
Well, I figured the ship would be similar to Ferno's, as they're similar rank and whatnot. Unlike Ferno's, his is meant as a shuttle, Point A - Point B.

Unless it's custom-made. I can find something else. I was just trying to get a modern Sith ship that's not available to 98% of other Imperial-Siths

Ferno's is a prototype fighter, built around the neural interface system. It's attempting to make a next-gen fighter/pilot combo, and he just recieived it this episode.

I'm thinking about going the Emerald Squadron as an A-wing Recce Specialist. You know, the poor b*****d thats assigned to do a fast reconissance pass and send his telemetry to everybody else.

Anyway Nelo, I was reading through the stuff on lingo.
Nelo

"Bearing"- Reading on a compass. North is 0, East is 90, etc. In space, it is more common to use "clock bearing" instead, using positions on a clock to describe direction, and "high", "low", or "even" to describe altitude.
"Bogey"- enemy.
"Over"- Understood last message, waiting for more messages.
"Out"- Understood last message, NOT waiting for more messages.
"Copy"- Last message understood.
"Over and out"- Lyke, OMG! Me a stoopid noob, twying 2 lewk kewl!!1!!1!.
"CAP"- Combat Air Patrol. Flying a perimeter of airspace for defensive recon, ready to repel any intruders.
"ETA" - Estimated Time of Arrival.
"AWOL" - Away Without Ordered Leave.
"FUBAR" - F***** Up Beyond All Recognition.
"SNAFU" - Sure 'Nuff, All F***** Up.

There are a couple errors.

A Bogey is an unknown sensor contact, assumed hostile.
A Bandit is a visually identified enemy.

I'd add heading, which is the direction an enemy is moving.

Star Wars uses a second set of designations for directions in combat. These "Marks" are basically a numbered list of attack patterns. Mark 1 is head to head, mark 2 is approaching from the six o'clock position. No one knowns what the others are. lol

Then there's Fighter Sweep, Intercept, and Strike missions as well as Bar Cap. I wonder what the Star Wars equivalent for a Wild Weasel mission is called.

Bogey is also simply an enemy contact. Its not fundamentally wrong, and bandit isn't always used in its place. I also forgot Alpha Whiskey, the verbal confirmation that an enemy has been spotted and if I really wanted to dig through all my old papers on this, the code which asks for confirmation to open fire upon the said enemy, since you can't simply shoot once you see a craft. Hell, you could be under fire and by all technical by the book law, you are not allowed to fire upon the craft until squadron leader or higher command authorizes the use of hostile force.

If you so wish to really debate this, I suggest heading to the local air force base and talk to a couple of pilots. You might find out that even this is subject for debate depending on where you were trained at.

Down south, where I picked up the slang, they are all correct.

And I also noticed one error in your post. You claimed to find a "couple errors". Yet you only pointed out "one" debatable one. So If you choose to snicker at me, perhaps you should consider exactly what you're posting first.

I also take that back. there is another flaw in your post. Heading is simply direction, not neccessarily friendly nor foe. In context, it describes the possible outcome of another craft in motion, but in a 3d context, heading does little but provide a 2d estimation. Hence, if you're calling out a bearing, it can encompass altitude and direction, whereas a heading simply states where its going on the flat plain it currently is on. And with us being in space, I thought that chances are, a heading is probably next to useless.

But, really, both terms are interchangible for the simple man, so it also is useless to attempt to mix up the youth.

You can also consider that this isn't aerial combat, and I've never heard "bandit" in the movies. Or seen it in any books I have read. At least Bogey makes sense.

Heading and Bearing have the same meaning when you're talking about yourself, but a target's heading is which direction its going, a target's bearing is which direction it is relative to you. I do have some friends who are currently on active duty in the air force. B1 Bombers over Iraq, though I think that's more ordanance then can be used against an insurgency. How often do you have targets for all those bombs?

Bandit is something of an older term, but its still used. Bogey is usually a radar contact, but a Bandit is used if the contact is sighted and identified as a fighter usually... Most of the terminology I use is more in line with that of World War II combat pilot lingo, which is much more similar to Star Wars pilot language then modern combat linguistics, you don't read or hear them asking for permission to fire or calling out their shots while engaged. Then Bogey was never used to identify targets.

As for in flight control, I think the rules are much more relaxed in the Rebel Alliance. Sure a squadron leader has command to issue orders as to when to engage but since they're usually operating autonomously of ground, air, or space control they don't have to request weapons free. Moreover, no pilot worth his salt is just going to sit there if tracers are flashing past his canopy. That's just a death sentence, unless you're a lumbering bomber of course.
