Af Mas If you are able to vote, I think you all should get out and vote. If you don't know what elections are going on in your areas, get some info, if you're interested. Not telling you how to vote, just that it's important to do it, especially if you're in college. Voting is overrated. Besides, in the contest between Kean and Menendez, who am I gonna vote for? Forchion at least is amusing, but he had no chance of winning. Socialists I can't vote for. Libertarians are heartless (at least, orthodox Libertarians). So who's left? Kean and ********, I voted for Menendez. ******** me in the eye sockets for it.

FogSage Not all of us have the luxury of having money to build tidy little fenced in areas to keep our dogs out of the way of the world, Krissim. My dogs are well taken care of. They are fed, groomed, they are given regular flea and tick treatments and all their shots are up to date. However, I suppose we'll just have to put our dogs to sleep, seeing as how I can't well put them on lines or keep them inside all the time. If any of the drivers were REALLY irate at my dogs, they could've ran them over at any time. All they had to do was keep on driving and not give them a second's notice. Guess what?
My dogs live in my home. My home is their home. There are no doggy doors; when they leave the house, I'm holding their leashes. Sometimes I can take them to the dog run about half a mile from here, where I can safely and legally take off their leashes and let them runandrunandrun.
It requires a bit of adjustment, but no purchase of equipment you don't already have (at least, I hope you have leashes).

At the very least, if things don't go my way, I at least have a damn right to complain about it

Nekoyaki I am so drunk right now. Like seven shots of vodka drunk. But seriously, I have a post to make. So there's this guy here. His name is Jim. I am attracted to him. Have been for a few weeks. But I can't tell him, because that would be awkward if he wasn't attracted to me.... But I am drunk, so he let me curl up in his lap. What does this mean? Could he be attracted to me? No, I doubt it. But I would like to entertain the thought, because being single kinda sucks. *sigh* Perhaps you should try apporaching him when you're not drunk, but at least it sounds like he cares about you to some level which is good. Also, not to tell you how to live or anything, but I'm concerned hearing that you're drunk. Maybe it's because I know what alcohol can do to a person, but it's a really touchy subject for me. I just don't want you to have something happen to you because you're drunk, sorry...I worry too much.

I loved that last bit you put in. Made me laugh so hard I damn near wet myself.
Personally, I can't vote in my state election this year. I know nothing about the candidates, about who's running for what, and what is it they support. Neither do I care. So long as they don't bring the draft back and don't support anti-sodomy legislation, I'm down for whatever the hell they can throw at me.
You're right about one thing: voting IS overrated. To those who say "If you don't vote you have no say in how you're governed", piss off. People like that bug the living s**t out of me. I will have a say. I don't need to vote to make myself heard. Hell, Oprah did a damn good job of that, now didn't she? >>
In short, I don't want to vote at all right now, because both parties are equally corrupt and are doing all the wrong things, to be frank. Democrats have that one guy that wrote the dirty books about incest and s**t, the Republicans have Mark Foley. Yeah. And these are the people that we're supposed to TRUST. To hell with that.
