Hey Cale. *Returns Hug*
At least you didn't attack me with a Chainsaw like Nelo did...

Thats not how outlaws welcome back the dead.
*Hands him a flask of jet juice*
Drink this. It'll put hair on your chest.

Aw Crap. I gotta head for school, Methinks. Nice to catch up, but we'll have to save this conversation for later tonight or something...

It's in my pile of books to read, but I got a couple of things ahead of it. Did you read it? And if so, how is it in comparison to his other works?

Greetings! I apologize if this has already been mentioned, but it is a rather arduous task to look through so many pages of comments that have accumulated over the years.

I am considering picking up a Star Wars novel or two, but have no clue where to begin. The entire extended universe is vast and intimidating, and I wouldn't mind a little direction. Which books is your favorite? Why? Anything I should avoid? Other recommendations?

Try the Thrawn trilogy, starting with Heir to the Empire, then Dark Force Rising, then Last Command.
If you're going to start in the Expanded Universe, start at the begining.

Cheese, your second rule should become guild law.

Now, about the endless universe: Anybody got any new buisness?

Well, the Thrawn Trilogy wasn't exactly the beginning. Just the earliest time it was actually good.

If you're not into Trilogies or long sagas of books, pick of Shadows of the Empire. Nice tie-in between ESB and ROTJ, and you even get to see Dash Rendar and Prince Xizor.

Then again, noone can deny the sheer awesomeness that is the Thrawn Trilogy.

After reading Bloodlines, I have a renewed respect for Boba Fett... and a renewed near-hatred of Jacen Solo.

So after Bloodlines, is Boba no longer in the Legacy of the Force series? Cause that would suck.

There is no emotion,
There is no ignorance,
There is no passion,
There is no chaos,
There is no death,

I just started on The Thrawn Trilogy, and just finished Outbound Flight. It was a good book, of course it was good though. Mister Zahn the mon wrote it.

...there is peace.
...there is knowledge.
...there is serenity.
...there is harmony.
...there is the Force.

If Karen Traviss is writting any moe books for it, then you can bet the Fett Man will be there
