Well, I wanted to go for Hogan's Heroes, thus the cigar. Alas, nothing really evoked the illustrious Colonel Hogan, save for the cigar and jacket. ^^

Yes, indeed. All week, I've been on a Hogan's Heroes and Gomer Pyle binge. Thinking of getting McHale's Navy sometime. :3 Or Rocky Jones.

According to Wookieepedia, stormtrooper armor was actually very resistant to slugthrowers, requring shots to be very large or something, while crappy against blaster shots.
It was later enhanced though somewhere along the lines, possibly switching that around since then slugthrowers were probably rare. I dunno, didn't see anything about that.

Realistically, stormtroopers would effectively be the marines. If it wasn't for the fact that " the bad guys have to lose " they'd kick a** all over the place.
Interesting stuff.
