The Betrayal of Luminair (Cities in the Skies)

They landed a few moments later a few yards from Zach and Alice. "Honey, we're home," muttered Sydney, almost sarcastically.

Ry rubbed her eyes sleepily, mumbling softly.

Vines wrapped around Ry gently and pulled her to Zach. He hugged her tightly.

Alice yawned, looking at her brother.

Ry hugged him back just as tightly, sleepily nuzzling her face against his neck, totally oblivious to Alice and almost everyone else. Totally oblivious to Alice and her pregnancy, Ry absently ran her hand through Zach's long hair.

Sydney had his arms crossed, not smelling or hearing Aphrodites nearby. "Where's the goddess?"

Sighing, Alice walked over to Sydney. "She stayed behind to kill the assassins, with Ares and Thanatos. She'll have to go back to Olympus, but she'll be back."

He nodded, his blank eyes aimlessly moving around though they couldn't see anything. Nervous because he didn't know what Alice looked like, he reached out his hand, "May I?"

"Yes," She murmured lowly. She blushed at some thoughts running through her head.

After making there way up to the top floor. Thanatos met up with The Deceiver which had pretty much made himself at home there. Comfortable in one of those chairs. With his right leg slightly bent. And his right knuckles rested on his cheek. He yawned lazily not recognizing the figure right off the bat. Glancing at them his eyes suddenly disappeared. And a picture of hell appeared in them. Only it was the picture the one he was looking at. Whatever they thought the place would look like. That is the image they would see in his eyes. It was a spell he'd used to scare some of the assassins into running into a wall. But this one was different, they obviously could see the gleam in his eyes.

A group of five assassins watched as Aphrodite came down the hallway. At first the group were armed and ready to strike. But the godly appearance of the goddess disarmed them. The group wasn't really sure what do. Some shyly walked away while looking over there shoulder. One of the two assassins ended up walking directly into a wall. Two of them just stood there leaning against a wall trying to look cool for the hot goddess. And the last one just stood there in the front with his mouth open. Scanning there body from top to bottom.
(That last one is so going to be the first to die). 3nodding

She walked over to the one looking over her body, and caressed his face... then she turned into a lion and bit his head off. Ares appeared, running another through.

Sydney didn't notice her discomfort, his hands gently touching and running over her features. He didn't mean for it to be, but his touches were almost erotic and lover-like. His thumb traced over her lips, his fingers gently brushing against her eyelids and his right hand tracing down her throat and collarbone. Almost as quick as it happened, Sydney took his arms away. "Finished. Thank you." He bowed his head in her general direction.

Ry looked up at Zach, her brown eyes wide with concern, "Are you injured at all?"

She smirked, then leaned up and pecked him on the lips.

"I'm fine," He murmured, kissing Ry's neck.

Sydney didn't see that one coming...at ALL. His pale, albino features flushed deep crimson as he suddenly started stammering, unsure of what to say or how to react.

Ry sighed softly, just hugging him closer. "Is everything ok with you and your sister?"

He sighed. "We were held captive for a year... they forced us to... have sex..." He sighed. "She's six months pregnant." He smiled slightly, tensely. "So, no, nothing's okay with her."

Alice laughed quietly, hugging Sydney. "Aph was right, the pink aura is cute."

Ry's eyes were wide on his, as she studied his tense features. She gently held his face between her hands, and said nothing as she pressed her forehead softly on his chin. That was the only comfort she could really give him right now.

Sydney just sighed, having a feeling Aph had something to do with it. He just pet her head, "Har, har har," he grumbled sourly.

He softly kissed her forehead, then brought her lips to his, kissing her softly.

Alice rolled her eyes and pecked his lips again, her arms reaching up to wrap around his neck, forcing him to stay.

Sydney's sightless eyes were wide now, his arms poised to either push her away or embrace her. He had NO idea how to react, and Ry and Zach were too involved with eachother to help him. Damn...

Ry's eyes slowly closed as she kissed him back, her lips gently moving against his, glad to have him hold her again.
