Eva blushed. "Well, thank you."She smiled and then noticed the flowers. "Are those for me?" She asked. Alex nodded and handed them to her. "Thank you. I'll just go put these in some water." She walked into the kitchen and filled the vase with water before putting the flowers in. Eva turned to Alex. "Ready to go?" She asked.

Alex nodded. "Ready as ever." He smiled, taking her hand as he led her to the car and opened the door for her.

"Thank you." She said again as he helped in into the car. Eva waited for him to get in. As he started the car, she looked around. "I must say you have a pretty awesome ride."

"You're welcome." He smiled and when he got inside looked at her. "Thanks, the guy who owned it left it at the autoshop. Said it couldn't possibly be repaired. I tried to tell him it could, it only needed a few pieces replaced, but he didn't listen. Works for me though. All I have to do is paint it." He explained as they headed towards the dance.

"From what I can tell you did a pretty good job. The same thing happened to me except when I finished the bike, the guy saw it and bought it from me." She shrugged. "It's amazing how people will easily give up on things."

Alex nodded and they stopped outside the hall. Music could be heard from inside and people were all around doing different things. "I guess one man's trash is another man's treasure." He smiled and got out opening her door for her.

Eva nodded and got out of the car. She smiled at him and then at the hall. "Wow, nice decorations." She smiled. "I have to admit I've never really been to a town dance. The town was never small enough."

Alex chuckled a bit and took her hand. "Yeah, well this is about as small as it gets." He smiled and led her to the building. "Good thing you came when you did. They throw the dance after they do fundraisers. So lucky you, you missed all the door to door towns people trying to raise money." He said to her.

Eva smiled. "I always did have perfect timing." They walked in and everyone's head turned towards her. "Creepy." She said to herself. Some of the faces were either happy or curious at her. "I think they're planning on using me as human sacrifice."

Alex grinned at her. "That was the plan all along." He teased her. "You're new here that's all. We don't get too many people moving here. And it doesn't help that you bought the haunted mansion and the rumors." He nodded. "But it'll fade soon enough."

She turned to Alex. "Ha! Knew it." She said. The people turned their heads and began to go back to their own business. "And where else was I going to go? There are a lot of great victims to add to my witch stew." She joked.

Alex couldn't help but laugh. "Either way, sacrifice, stew, or not. I'm glad you moved here." He smiled softly to her.

She smiled at him. "Me too." Several people began to dance to the fast pace music on the dance floor. Several guys on the other side of the room looked at her and began to talk to each other.
(I think now would be a good time to bring in your friends.)

(okie dokie.)
Alex looked across the room and spotted three of his friends who were looking at Eva and him. He glared at them slightly and waved them over. Sure enough they came.
"Hey Alex... is that?"One of them started to say before getting cut off by another. "Of course that's her you numskull." The three blinked and started laughing.
Alex nodded. "Yes, this is Eva. Eva this Danny, Jack, and Tyler." He said motioning to the three as they greeted her in turn.

Eva smiled at them. "Hello. Nice to meet you three." She told them. Eva then realized that he was still holding her hand. She made no attempt to move her hand. Instead, she kept her focus on the boys.
