"Let's try this again... Nidoran, meet the attacks with your own! Fury Attack!" Aden knew that such a tactic was likely best left to Raticate, but Nidoran was at least adamant on getting something done.

"Raaan!" He went with the call at once, countering each swipe with a quick tackle. Without the confusion hindering him, he wasn't about to back down at once.

Aden and Nidoran didn't even really see much past Teddiursa seemingly becoming a brown blur. They could see it weaving in and out, only to go out of sight entirely. When it reappeared, it ended up being all too late to try and defend, and Nidoran got kicked hard.

"Nidoran, are you alright!?" He asked, watching him get back up in a hurry. "Alright, good... give him a kick of your own, then. Double Kick!" Before long, Nidoran went to counter the Teddiursa's attack with a couple of quick kicks from his hind legs.

"Giving everything he's got... very good trait there, but you don't want to overdo it." Aden was quick to give a command, however. "Nidoran, Poison Sting."

Instead of weaving or anything, Nidoran went for the swiping head on, trying to jab his horn into one of the Teddiursa's paws.

Aden knew that at this point, he could possibly make things far worse on the Teddiursa. But this one was learning too. Going a merciless route was probably still a bad idea, driving him to avoid doing too much more.

"Nidoran, brace yourself and come back!" Perhaps it'd be a little unusual to ease off the commands so suddenly, but he felt it made for a sufficient test so far. "His Teddiursa's in bad enough shape as it is, we don't need to make it worse than it already is." He spoke up.

His Nidoran held his ground, taking the hit and sliding a little. He rushed back to Aden's side once there was a chance to move, looking between him and the opponent.

"Raaan, nidoran."

Aden knelt down to whisper something in response. "I think I know what might be going through his mind. You know, with Raticate and all."

"Nido." Nidoran found the notion lame.

"Fairy boy? You'd think this guy expects me to scatter dust all over the field or something." Thankfully, Aden had his doubts that thoughts could be transmitted.

Keeping his mind off of that, he nodded to the boy. "I know it goes without saying, but when you get a chance, you might want to get those two checked out. Having a Pokemon poisoned's no fun, or frozen for that matter. But you did well, you'll get better." He said, recalling Nidoran to give him a chance to rest. Let someone else go next.

Seeing that, Aden wondered if he was really all that qualified here. But then, he was learning. As a Trainer, he wasn't too far above these students, perhaps making for just as good a test as Blizzard could give himself. "I know he can't be the only one. Could the next one come up please?" He spoke up, mentally writing down what was said seconds before. He might want to keep that in mind for his Mareep.

Aden didn't say or look anything like it, but when that Jigglypuff came out, he couldn't help feeling more than a little irked. Something about its presence he just didn't like all that much, and judging on things, he might want to use someone else after all. "Should be alright now... okay. Mareep, you're up!"

He quickly sent out the small sheep, watching her blink at the Jigglypuff.
