I like to analyse a movie for motifs and symbols. I appreciate it on a textual level and a good movie level. I don't mind the odd actor, but as I progress I really don't seem to be all that fussed.

Yep movies sure are movies!
I do enjoy movies. If I wasn't so inclined to be active and animal obsessed, a career as a crazy movie review person would be quite appealing.

Yeah but food critics have to eat at those restraunts where they give you meals the size of a 50 cent coin, so it woun't be too gluttonous.

EmWah Yep movies sure are movies! I do enjoy movies. If I wasn't so inclined to be active and animal obsessed, a career as a crazy movie review person would be quite appealing. No! Being a movie critic would have to be one of the most painful careers out there. Being as seasoned and critical as you are, you'd never be able to enjoy any of the hours-long movies you're subjected to.

I still can't particularly see the purpose of critics, especially food ones. They're being paid to be subjective, and a lot of the things they nitpick about bear very little significance to the majority of the people who'll be reading their reviews.
