Many different techniques, but that's the general jist. It's personally my favored armor. Stronger than mail, but lighter than plate.

I've made it with another smith, but not by myself. I don't have quite enough knowledge of it yet, sadly. But I agree it is quite strong and much lighter than my chainmail.
