"Ralts, stand your ground and use Confusion on contact!" Sub called out to his Pokemon. The Psychic type would stand firm, as firm as one of its size could, and anticipated the Riolu ramming into it. Once it did, the Ralts would of course take damage from the attack, but as soon as they touched it would unleash a psychic assault on Riolu, attempting to grab a hold of it with Confusion, and throwing it back, in order to save it from taking more damage than it could handle. Plus, the Ralts was unable to use Confusion at a distance very well so it needed to make contact to do the most damage, it was a sacrifice for it surely.

The Confusion attack lingered even after Havoc's contact, taking heavy damage from the super effective attack. "Quick Attack again!" Veronica hoped that Havoc could jump back and attack but she fell on her face instead and hurt herself. Veronica sighed and allowed Havoc time to snap out of its confusion, this round had been lost as far as she was concerned but she would squeeze every juice out of Havoc before that. Moon should be able to finish Ralts... Strategies formed in her head, if the Ralts dared to approach then she would have Havoc attack.

Veronica hoped that Havoc could jump back and attack but she fell on her face instead and hurt herself. Veronica sighed and allowed Havoc time to snap out of its confusion, this round had been lost as far as she was concerned but she would squeeze every juice out of Havoc before that. Moon should be able to finish Ralts... Strategies formed in her head, if the Ralts dared to approach then she would have Havoc attack.

The tiny Ralts panted a bit, it was already exhausted, but it was understandable, she couldn't take physical damage well plus it wasn't too skilled with its mental abilities yet. "Alright Ralts, good job on the Confusion, let's try a more defensive approach this time. Double Team!" Sub ordered, he noticed the Riolu failed to execute its attack so he had to take advantage of it. The Psychic type would obey accordingly as she spread her arms out and focused her strength as her began to split both ways, forming two copies of herself on either side, that was the most she could conjure, considering her inexperience. "Good Ralts now- wait, what?"

Sub was baffled as he saw his three 'Ralts' dancing together in a circle, as if they were playing around. How his Ralts could physically 'play' with intangible copies was beyond his understanding, it was like playing with air, he ignored it for now, at least it was a distraction, but if it was a good one or not remained to be seen.

Veronica closed her eyes, I'm so stupid, I might have gotten rid of this item in this opportunity! Oh well, it doesn't matter. I wouldn't want to have him heal. "Havoc!" She snapped. "Stand still, use Endure!" Veronica commanded, hoping her Riolu could last another turn to dash in for her last attack. Havoc stayed still but then sat down, still seeing funny hallucionations. She hummed and appeared to be bracing itself, the Riolu glowed for a moment as if sending energy to her whole body to endure the following attack. Moon called out to the Ralts, distracted by what looked like a dance. Veronica had to admit it was cute, probably not something Sub had in mind. It's all right.

Tsuki the Lunar Wind

Sub smiled as he watched the Riolu Endure. "So that's how it is huh? Very well, let's play along Ralts. Use another Confusion, make contact." He ordered. The Ralts would gather together its mental strength and an aura of pink energy would surround it and its clones. The three Ralts would then slightly hover over the ground and seem to 'skate' across the field, zigzagging around each other. Once they got near the Riolu they would attempt to use their numbers to baffle it as they would glide by and attempt to touch the Pokemon, passing on the built up Confusion in the real one to it, in order to attack it mentally, and by using their numbers, attempt to get away before the Riolu could retaliate, now let's see if the Riolu could foil their plan.

Once Havoc sensed the anger in Veronica's voice, she stayed down to focused on getting over the confusion. Ah, Sub, this was too predictable. Veronica chuckled, loving when she could figure out her opponent's next move. "Havoc. You want to be on the team? You gotta fight." Veronica stood up straight and kept a fixed look on her Riolu. "Use Quick Attack to evade, I expect nothing less." She lowered her tone. Havoc took a deep breath and got up slowly, the Ralts were already sending their attack at Havoc but her attack had priority.
She jumped up, turning her body to move towards the left wall, the fresh wind allowed her to completely snap out of confusion. If the Ralts had been facing one another then they might have hit themselves but assuming that the Ralts would redirect their attack, Havoc jumped off the wall and doing another flip in the air, she landed on top of Tsuki's head. Havoc had tried to slow the crash but the hit was inevitable and Havoc took damage herself from the bad landing. A nature fighter, perfect for me. She reminds me so much of Chi. Veronica hid her hands in her pockets. "S-sorry!" She suddenly realized that Tsuki had been harmed in the land, she would have congratulated Havoc otherwise.
"Take your time, make your last move count." Veronica nodded, seeing that Havoc was down on her knee and panting. She patted Tsuki to apologize and slowly walked back into the battle stage. The Ralts might have started to get tired but no Quick Attack could finish it off. The Riolu would wait a moment, hoping the trio would get closer so that she may hit at least two of them with hopes of hitting the right one. Whether Veronica won or lost, she hadn't had such a fun battle in a while.

Veronica smiled, if Sub was going to risk on having his Ralts learn a new attack during battle then Veronica would try the same. Havoc turned to her trainer frantically since her opponent wasn't approaching. "Oh, take her out with you. Try out Counter!" Veronica quickly spoke, to which her Riolu had to react faster. She was glad that Shadow Sneak was a physical attack, otherwise this plan would have failed.
Havoc knew the move instinctively but actually putting it to use would surely cost her, it wasn't a move she would be able to master probably until another level but Havoc took the trust Veronica had in her to believe she could do it. She impulsed herself against the Shadow Sneak with her fist ahead, it only absorbed half of the attack which would cause most damage on Havoc after her own attack. Havoc mostly focused on landing the hit, though neither of them expected for the Ralts to be beaten. I wonder what I should treat Havoc to after this for her excellence performance.

And she was hit by the Counter, being sent flying backwards as the Shadow Sneak bounced off her opponent. Fortunately due to typing, and her inexperience with the move, she was able to withstand the Counter, barely. The tiny Pokemon huffed exhausted as she landed on her feet, glaring at the Riolu, ready for more, she was getting into it. "Ralts, return!" Sub called out as he recalled his Pokemon, despite her still having a bit of fight left, he didn't want to push her too far. "You've done well enough." He said pocketing the ball.

"Well Veronica, it's time I took off the kid gloves, here I come!" He said taking out a Dusk Ball and hurled it into the air. "Let's go, Poe!" He cried. As the ball popped open, Poe the Sableye would appear, with a devious grin on his face. "Hehe, time to battle huh?" He said with glee. "Yes, now, show them what you can do, Poe. Shadow Ball!" He ordered. The Sableye would nod as his eyes then began to glow, with a devilish smile on its face. A ball of shadows would quickly form in front of its face, about the size of his head. And them, with a simple wave at Havoc, saying 'bye' the Shadow Ball would zoom towards the Riolu.

Veronica was surprised that her Riolu wasn't knocked out on the ground, she couldn't have survived with more than five health point or something ridiculous like that but Veronica really enjoyed when such things happened. Havoc could barely move or speak, she just stayed standing with her legs shaking. Veronica shivered at the sight of the Sableye, "Endure!" She yelled out, not wanting to retreat her Riolu fainted. It took Havoc her last piece of strength to survive the Shadow Ball, Veronica was willing to let her next pokemon take the hit.
She returned Havoc afterwards and brought the pokeball up to her face to whisper good job. Then sent out Chi, her Monferno. It was a hard choice, even Moon thought that Veronica would send her out next. But there was a thing or two Veronica had to set up before sending such a small pokemon against the Sableye.
"Flame Wheel." Veronica instructed, the Monferno wouldn't lose time since he expected to be hit first. "Moonnn!" Chi roared and enveloped himself in fire before rolling towards Poe. Veronica fished out the Sableye's moveset, hopefully Moon would get some action later on.

Veronica smiled, feeling proud of her pokemon. Since her Monferno had been with her since the beginning, it was easy for Chi to know what kind of move to do in battle next. Her smile turned to a grin as Chi pulled his own trick to have his attack hit with maximum power; he stopped not far from Poe, taking on the Power Gem head on and curving the energy of the flames above the attack so it would land on the Sableye.
Chi braced himself down, trying to hold on with his feet and slowly getting pushed by the attack. As soon as he redirected all the power he allowed himself to be tossed away by the rock move, rolling back a few feet. The damage he took might have been greater than if he had simply slowed down his Flame Wheel but it was still pretty early in the battle to worry too much.
"Come rest," She called Chi over to the trainer box, nudging Moon over into the battle with her foot. "I'll let you guess what to do, Moon." Veronica tested her, which made Moon nervous but that's what Veronica loved to do -force her pokemon to think smart and fast in battle

"Ack! Not cool!" Poe cried out as the flames hit him. "Hot hot!" He panicked as he shook off some of the fire. "Hm, pulling Chi back already? Interesting...Poe, Confuse Ray." Sub said to his Sableye. "Hehe, with pleasure..." The Ghost nodded as it unleashed a bright flash of light from its crystal eyes, filling the room with the light. He would 'disappear' from sight for any of those who witnessed the sudden flash. It was worse than the flash on a paparazzi's camera, unnaturally bright and dizzying.

"Yea, you haven't seen anything yet." Veronica chuckled. Moon was easily affected by the attack, but Veronica didn't instruct anything. Moon tried to move forward as if to try to Tackle but she kept wobbling from side to side as she slowly took steps forward until she fell on her face. Her trainer didn't intend on telling her what to do, in fact she lightly laughed at the fall. The Shinx continued forward until she could believe she was close enough to hit with her Spark. It was an interesting tactic to act, though she was ready for the Sableye's attack that would follow. Perhaps she managed through the confusion this time, but that Spark won't be enough to take the Sableye out. Chi sat beside Veronica, still catching his breath, and looking back at Veronica when she set her eyes on him. You'll have to endure through it all.

"Hmm...I can see why Terashi said you were a handful" Dan muttered, dodging another random Headbutt. The trainer brought the Bagon to the training room, trying to, well, train him. Unfortunately, all it wanted to do was ram things- including him. With a sigh, he looked around seeing Sub and Veronica enter the training room. "Are they going to batt- Oww!" the trainer yelped as Bagon got him in the shin. Rubbing the now injured area, he shot a glance at the Bagon who took off in another direction. "Diva, don't let him escape!" The Gardevoir was sent out stopped the Bagon in his tracks with Psychic. Maybe if he could get rid of all that energy, he'd be able to talk some sense into the dragon.

The various sounds rocking around the training room awoke the creature sleeping in its depths. With a low groan and a stomp, it arose from the corner and unleashed its pure fury in the form of a furious yawn!!! wait... Yawn?

Twelve had found himself sleeping in the training room. it was something he found was easy since it sometimes was empty and therefor, quiet. But now, what with Sub and Veronica battling, and Dan training his pokemon, it was just too noisy to sleep! Twelve stomped his way over to Dan, Diva and Bagon. Ohboy, he was gonna give him a piece of his mind! Of course, when the Dewott approached Dan and began stomping, the language barrier reduced his long chains of pokeswears and other nasty comments into several collections of "Wott"s and "Dewott"s. Of course, the pokemon would probably understand, but his tirade is just too graphic to translate.
