America has 20,000 troops stationed in South Korea that never left since the war. And America's army is 500,000. Toss in reserve forces, National Guard, auxialiaries, etc. And you get a few million or so. America's population is in the millions. So why is it that China, with a populace of over a billion, only have around 6 million soldiers?
Besides, America has a better air force then North Korea. Troops are simply to back the tanks in cities and towns.
Oh yes, Happy Chinese New Year, everybody.

Under 50 percent of people who willingly enlist are actually accepted. Odd concept if they don't want to die. Especially when a couple years back around 4,000 (or was it 40 thousand?) Chinese soldiers died in an incident. Yet the enlistment requests keep on coming.
The thing is, America is more prepared and capable for war.
