Uncharted was a work of art. Makes me want my Playstation 3 back.

elvisnake I've never been that much of an FPS fan... Some people claim to be dizzy when they play, others just don't like that type of game. My first FPS was Doom 2, and my God it sucked me into FPS games. Shortly after was Golden Eye. That hit the spot.

Nelowulf I figured as such. Still, hitman... rainbow six... things where you're not some super-pumped up greek god of steroid abuse kind of stuff. Sure, master chief was fun, but it's kind of old hat now. Need more creative ways to destroy something, rather than point and click. Hitman rocked so much! Personaly I prefer western RPGs and strategy games, although I find fighting games really fun as well.

@Johnny: Oh god. I remember Wolf. Such good memories.
@Everyone: I got Fallout. Its why I haven't been on recently. I beat it. Logged 38 hours in 4 days, one of which was an election day.

First FPS I played was probably Wolfenstein 3d, followed by Doom. Never really got that attached to normal FPS... tactical shooters however are a godsend. Operation Flashpoint is one of my favorite games of all time due to its extreme difficulty and realistic combat.
Still my real love has always been Real Time Tactical Simulators and Combat Flight Sims. Especially the World War II and World War I era ones. Nothing is quite like flying over the trenches of the western front in your wood and canvas weapon.

I rather did enjoy Doom way back when. Which is odd, considering that I could take or leave most modern FPS games.

@Stellar: Hey Stellar, you remember the Aces series of the early-mid nineties? s**t was awesome.
@Everyone: Old school fps ftw. I still prefer old school Space Combat Sims to recent ones. X-Wing and TIE series, Wing Commander...Oh man. Gotta go start playing...
