fullXmetal "you really think i will get a date for the dance?" Jason asks in an excited voice "thanks Rosalind, for the dance lessons, your a great friend" [Master xeanik?] [Apologies, it would be Fullxmetal, now.] "Of course," Rosalind reassured him. The campus bell began to toll. "I'm sorry that I could not have done you better, but you should go if you hope to find another girl to accompany you..."

Julia dragged Jack onto campus grounds. "Come on, come on, we're gonna be late!" Her dress was somewhat revealing; Her parents despised it. She giggled as she noticed Jack couldn't keep his eyes off her.

Rosalind descended from the roof, opposite to him, and sighed, sadly. She cursed herself and her father and every man on Earth who made her so afraid. Cassie's dress seemed to have less fabric to it than before, and Rosalind soon found her arms wrapped about her to keep out the chilling evening winds. She walked to the place where she had first met the others at the charred remains of the tree's roots and held her head in her hands.

Jason walks down the stair way, he pauses for a moment, then turns around and pauses again, he then turns to head down the stairs shacking his head "does Rosalind?..." Jason whispers to himself "naaaw"

[Forbidden, indeed.] Rosalind grew a cradle of vines about herself as protection from the rising winds which, now, seemed to pull at the fabric of her clothes and tug her towards the dance-entry. She paid no heed to them, though and wearied herself further to ward of the winds. One lonely bud unwound before her, it's leaves shuddered as the petals unfurled. "It would be a shame to waste such a dress," Rosalind told herself. She plucked the flower and tucked it into her hair as she rose and walked, hurried by the winds, to the doorway.

The dance was fully underway. 'Come Sail Away' was blaring on ancient speakers, droning in the background to students half-heartedly dancing. Vlad was in plain view, transfixed in his tragic pose. He was starting to resonate, like a fine crystal picking up a supersonic frequency. There were to fire-users nearby... And a third was approaching. He could feel himself starting to get warm at his core. He'd be free soon...
Or so he thought...

Rosalind pushed open the doors nervously and stared forward into the room. Everyone seemed... safe. She made her way out from beneath the streamers of the entry-way and walked, promptly, to a seat on the edge. She looked at her feet as she walked and faced away from the center-floor in a sort of denial of her own presence.

Noticing Rosalind sulking, Jack went over. "What's wrong, Rosalind?"
Julia walked over as well, prodding with a simple, "Hm?"

"Hm?" Rosalind was surprised by her company. "Please friends," she pleaded, "Enjoy your time together, here. I shouldn't keep you."

Jack laughed. "How can I have fun knowing one of my friends is sulking, and at a dance no less."
Julia nodded in agreement. "You really need to find a date. How 'bout you dance with Jason for a while? He seems nice enough."
