Anphal pushed some brush out of the way and saw two mortals in a clearing. He sheathed his blade and walked into teh open. "Greetings travelers. May i ask what you are doing here?"

(Are you talking to jade and Phoenix?)

((I would hope he's talking to Jade...Phoenix is a Dragon after all xp ))

Phoenix turned and growled and moved in front of Jade. "Who are you?"

*Jade looks at Anphal then at Phoenix smiling that she moved infront of him protecting him in away*"Greeting stranger.We are here to rest nothing more.What about ye?"

Anphal looked back and forth between the two. "A mission, one that apparently i cant do myself," he said regretfully. "a very powerful demon named Mephisto escaped from hell and im to hunt and destroy him. But, he is more powerful and clever that i thought," he finished and looked at them. He laughed amusingly. "im sorry, my mmanners are rude. Im Anphal, and angle of Heaven." he stated, his wings wipped around behind him.

*Jade hisses at the mentions of Mephisto then looks at Anphal*"I am Jad of the forest demons elves.This is Phoenix"

Anphal turned his cowled head to Jade. "You know Mephisto?"

"Aye I know that traitorous b*****d. My kind sent him to hell after he betrayed my father"

The angle chuckled. "Then perhaps we can be of service to another." he said. "I have in my possesion a shadow crystal, taken from Baal, Mephisto's younger brother. You help me catch the demon, you get the crystal." he put his hand on his sword. "Agreed elf and dragon?" he said to them both.

Phoenix looked at the angel closely. "Why not?" She said. "I have nothing better to do. But..." She looked ever closer at the angel. "I was attacked not long ago. I was shot with a poisened arrow. You wouldn't happen to have seen that, would you?"

Anphal shook what shood be his head. "No, im very sorry. But," he lefte the sentence unfinished and walked up to teh dragon. "Were is teh wound. I can heal it, though it will hurt quite a bit in the process."

Phoenix shook her head. "It is healed already," she told him.

*Jade looked at the angel*"Jade. Don't call me Elf"*He walks to phoenix and pats her side*

Anphal looked at Jade and nodded. "Very well then. Now, our best bet is to go to Mt. Hrmgor, home of the barbarian tribes." he said. Anphal shifted in his armor. "It is three days travel north of us. That is were Mephisto should have gone."
