Louis was not forgetting anything, he was very aware of Angeles's position, he was also aware that although being the head of the family, Angeles's was not fully 'involved' with them. They had to recognize her, but they did not like her.

He sighed.
"I know what you are saying Leon." he looked at the ranger.

"I believe this is better if I am not there when you speak to her. We..." he grunted and did not finish his sentence.

Emilia was staring at the dead meat in front of her. The body of Leon on top of hers came back to her mind. She cursed.
After what had happened, it made no doubt in her mind that they were after them... My own damn fault!  

[Angeles Valentine]

Leon nodded, but said nothing and turned to walk to where he had seen Angeles. The vampiress looked up at him from another book she had taken off of the shelf. He shut the door behind him and Angeles narrowed her eyes.

"What do you want?"

"We need to talk about sanctuary," Leon said and Angeles snapped the book shut, her eyes turning red, "we need to go to the Valentine estate."

"Stop, right there."

"Angeles," growled Leon with no fear, "we may be compromised here. It's likely certain members of Emilia's family would be more than willing to track us down for Christopher. If our trail leads to the Valentines, they'll be less likely to play executioners as well."

Emilia started being bored while staring at the dead boars, she decided to make it inside, leaving the corpses outside.
She followed the voices and find herself at the entrance of the library in which Louis and Angeles were having a chat. She noticed that Louis was leaning against the door frame of the door across the hallway, listening with a tired face.

She heard the end of Leon's sentence and understood what was going on. Her face darkened.

"There is another posibilities, they are after me. They know my scent. You could try to reach the border of the Kingdom while I lead them away."
She knew that Leon did not want to hear from it, but she did not care. She wondered where Kageko was, for the first time, she thought that the kid should be there too.

Kageko was still asleep in one of the rooms like any normal human was at this time of the night. Albeit, she wasn't exactly normal considering how she was a part of the Unit, but still, she needed her sleep and probably wouldn't wake up until someone woke her up or the sun rose. She was lightly dozing away besides the window while sitting in a chair and leaning against a wall to the side. So far, there was nothing in the area that she had staked out to scan with her energy. So far, the group was safe. Personally, she had no idea of the plans that were being discussed within the same house.  

[Angeles Valentine]

"So to avoid the crazy werewolves you want to go to the insane vampires," growled Angeles, "these people killed my husband."

"You're the countess, they have to listen to you," argued Leon and Angeles folded her arms.

"That doesn't mean that they will," she growled.

"Angeles," said Leon steadfast, "it will just be until you and Leon are fully healed."

Angeles was silent. She then looked at the ground with a sigh then a growl and stalked over, taking the book from her seat, "the sun's rising soon. You figure out with Louis when we leave."

At Emilia's voice though, both speakers turned to the werewolf and said simultaneously, "no."

Emilia sighed...as usual when she tried to make a suggestion or take some initiatives she was shut down without any consideration.
Arguying was fruitless and she would only humiliate herself even more. She cast a dark look at both the human and the vampire and growled "Well then when the smart ones will have taken their decision, if they would be so kind as to address the lower people to notify them of the course of action, I shall be outside..." she gave them a deep bow and went back to the boars. Taking her shorter blade, she skinned them with much pain and waste of meat, but she needed to do something to calm herself.

Louis had not commented on emilia's suggestion. He could see her emotions on her face, but he was too tired and too much in pain to try to explain things to her.
He stepped forward as the wolf disappeared.
He looked at Angeles. "I don't like the idea either but I do not see a better one. At day with Leon and Kageko we will be at an advantage...even with their human followers...at night; well we would better off to have been gone by then..."  

[Angeles Valentine]

Angeles listened to Emilia through crimson eyes until the werewolf was done being sarcastic and left. Louis soon took her place and made his own comment and Angeles threw her hands up in defeat.

"Fine," she growled and pointed at Louis, "you get out of your towel and put your clothes on, you," she pointed at Leon, "pack whatever you and the human girl may need. One of you go get Emilia, tell her to get her tail out from between her legs, and inform her that we leave when the sun rises."

Leon turned and made his way down the stairs to the basement. He gathered Louis' clothes, which were slightly damp but for the most part dry and brought them up to the vampire. He was gone again without a word, his cape flaring out slightly as he trotted down the stairs and outside. He walked past Emilia and to the shack behind his house. He returned with a cart and bag of salt.

"We're leaving at dawn," he said to the woman before hoisting up the carcasses of the piglets and dumped salt over them. They didn't have time to cut the meat from the bone, but they couldn't afford to leave the meat there. The Valentines were less likely to have any sort of food than a werewolf.

Louis did not not like the idea, he really hated it. The sole idea of heading to the Valentine estate made him shiver. He was a little surprised by Angeles's order to put on clothes. He refrained from mentally smiling or smirking which she would have picked up right away and just nodded. He left the room.

When Leon came back with his clothes, he thanked him and got dressed. He felt much better now, however there was no way he could wear his shirt for the fabric was chaffing against his wounded back. So he tight it around his waist.

Emilia looked at Leon as he passed her and then came back to prepare the meat.
"Alright." she said in a grunt. "Anything I can help with?" she questioned, feeling that as usual everything was happening without her.
She realized that traveling by day meant...horse riding again. She wondered if she would have her own horse or would have to share with the ranger again.  

[Angeles Valentine]

Leon looked up at Emilia and said, "could you lift the adults onto the cart. I'll pour the salt over them, then we'll cover them with the tarp and hitch them up to a horse."

Angeles went and gathered her things, pausing briefly to contemplate taking a few of the books with her. She soon decided against it and put her coat, hat, and weapons back on before walking out and getting Kageko. She then walked her and Louis outside and informed everyone around, "when it comes to the Valentines, you can trust only those that remain awake during the day. There are not many, but they are there. Trust only them."

Kageko had waken up with a start of adrenaline that was soon quelled once she had determined that it was Angeles. While she was slightly annoyed that she had been awoken before she had wanted to wake up, and by someone she barely knew, the girl kept her thoughts to herself and hid the bottom half of her face in her coat's collar to keep her irritation from being seen. Besides, it didn't take her long at all to quell her emotions and fully take in what Angeles said about her family. The girl simply nodded and didn't even consider asking why they should only trust those who were awake during the day. There were many good reasons but that wasn't why she didn't ask. Kageko didn't plan on trusting any of the vampires unless she absolutely needed to. She barely had any trust even in the group she was currently in and that was because circumstances called for it. There was no reason, at the moment at least, to put her trust in any other people.

The werewolf did as Leon asked her and grabbed the parents to put them on the cart. She helped as much as she could with the rest of the process although she was not familiar with it.

Louis followed Angeles out. As a pure blood vampire who had never shared his blood he knew that the Valentines would be likely to obey Angeles even more as she was bringing such a guest. Yet he was not blind and knew very well that their situation would be dangerous, especially bringing a bad tempered wolf and two humans.

Emilia looked up as Angeles, Louis and Kageko arrived. She listened in silence and nodded. She would trust no one except for those in her party.

The sun was already lightening the sky and the wolf slowly felt her strength disappear. Louis bit his lips as the pain started to awaken. He wished he could have rested one more day, this would not be a pleasant trip.

Angeles nodded and winced slightly, turning towards the east and watching the sun rise. Leon vanished and returned with a horse in a harness that he hooked up to the cart. Two other horses were following obediently without their ropes being pulled. One he steered to Emilia, a calm old mare that merely put her ears back but did not react in any other way to the werewolf. The other was Samuel that Leon got into the saddle.

Angeles looked at the cart. It would leave tracks, and that would be one more horse than they really needed, but she said nothing, the humans needed to eat. Angeles stepped up into the stirrups of her horse and turned her to the north, "alright," she growled, not happy for the next destination, "let's get moving."

Kageko got a horse herself, a brown mare with absolutely nothing remarkable about her. She got into the saddle on the horse and waited for whatever was going to happen next. Now that the sun was starting to rise, the girl's vision started getting better. Sure she could see to an extent at night thanks to the stars and the moon but it was still nowhere near as good during the day. Stretching a bit while in the saddle, Kageko warmed her body up for the potentially long ride.

Emilia stared back at the mare then walked to it and dared patted its neck, to her surprise the horse did no more than sighing.
The wolf grunted. "I'll be honest with you, I don't want to be on your back more than you want me on it, so let's just get over with it...."
The horse whuffled but did not move anymore than that and Emilia got on its back without too much trouble.

Louis looked at all those people on horse back and winced. The memory of the previous day was still raw and so was his back. He was still not wearing his shirt, but he knew that with the sun coming up he would have to protect his bare skin.
His horse came up and he slowly got on it with clench jaws.

Emilia was thinking about the next destination and realized something: there was no way that they would reach the Valentines Estate before the night...actually the plan was to reach it in daylight...which meant the next dawn...They would have to take at least one break for the horses, even two...
She frowned, the more she thought about the more it seemed obvious that they would have to face her family. She growled at the thought, luckily her horse did not seem to mind its rider.  

[Angeles Valentine]

"Let's go," was all Angeles said, feeling the sun rise before kicking Alexandria into a gallop. Leon followed instantly without a word, his cloak flowing out behind him. He kept an easy pace though, to make sure that the other two did not fall behind. He did not worry much about Kage, because she was human, nor Angeles, because she was leading, he kept his mind only on Louis and Emilia.
