Kirk didn't look particularly happy, but nodded at Shern's advice.
"Alright Tallulah, but keep my crew informed. Your improvements serve no use if my crew can't utilise them as efficiently as possible due to a mistranslation between you both. At any rate the engine room is yours."

he patched the message through to Scotty and then received the complaint form the 2 men he'd sent down to Zepatos' ship.

"What do you mean, 'firewall', just get around it." he said.

"Sorry captain, but the ship's computer's locked itself down. If we try to touch anything it tries to electrocute us." one man complained apologetically. "and even if we could get in, we can;t understand what it's saying."

Kirk shook his head in disbelief,. it was one thing after the other.
"Fine, fine...alright. Security - get a man down here and release Zepatos. tell him he's to pilot his ship, he's bound to know the computer controls. but eh is strictly under my orders."

he then retuned to the men.
"you remain here and oversee the operation. Zepatos will act as pilot for his ship. If he tries anything have security arrest him again."

he looked exasperated, but the men confirmed to do as he said.

Meanwhile Zepatos looked up in surprise as the security arrived and ordered him to get out. they relayed Kirk's orders to him, along with a few choice threats, and escorted him to his ship. he grinned when he saw it again - even a few hours parted from it was painful - it was the only family he had.
He stepped through the hatch and walked upto the control bridge. He ducked instinctively at a low-hanging pipe and smirked in victory as the security guard cracked his head on it.

Tallulah glared at Kirk as she swept off the Bridge. She barged into engineering and slammed a few consoles to program the frequency change. She looked up to Scottie "Itssss hallll donessss. The shipppp cannn passsss though the sssshieldss without whorry now. You need to do nothingss. It jhust works." she said as she strolled towards the storage locker. Filling her hands with bits and bobs she walked out of engineering with her arms full.

Disturbingly rapidly she arrived at Zepatos ship. "I hasss some modifications to mhake. Dhon't want this sssship to explode now dhooo wee"

She barged into the ship and opened a power relay. It sparked at her like some kind of defensive mechanism and threw a massive bolt of energy at her. She cackled and dissipated the power out of her fingertips into a nearby bulkheads.

Scotty opened his mouth to complain but she had swept out beforeh e could do much. He then read the data of what modification she'd done, and looked a mix between pleased and annoyed.
"y'know if everyone's going to start fiddling around with my ship I don't know why they bother to employ me." he grumbled, but then patted the nearest engine part. "nice work though." he had to admit. "Let's see if you hold up."

Zepatos complained loudly as the woman he'd not seen before barged in and started to wrench apart his power relay. he actually ran down the ship to confront her.
"H-hey! What the hell?! Get off!" he grabbed her by the shoulders and pulled her off to the side, putting hismelf between her and anything she could interfere with.

"Firstly - what the HELL! Who are you and what gives you the right to arrive on my ship unannounced and start hurting her? Secondly, if any improvements are made they go through me. So back off! Now what do you mean by explode?"


At the invasion of the power relay the text on the viewing screen changed and started blinking angrily, joined by a new message which also conveyed firm annoyance.

"see? Now you pissed her off." Zepatos said. As the computer warned to take serious physical action unless they stated their name.  

[Near Xephis]

Tallulah stood up and turned around. There was still a little juice in her and she sparked the remnants of it into Zepatos.

"Yhooo are the chriminal. Zepatos I knoww yhoooo. You have thaken thingsss from the space of my homewhorld. This shipe is sized bhy the Fhederation. Your lucky to be here. Iffff theysss don't arrhest yhooo I will."

"I will deal with your ship and not yhooo. It seems more... civilised" she spat and Zepatos. "Lhets shee what sheee speaksss"

"Ich bin Tallulah von Creedon. Wenn Sie wissen, dass wem ich bin, tun Sie da ich zu sagen"

"Je suis Tallulah de Creedon. Si vous savez que qui je suis vous suffirez car je dire."

"Ik ben Tallulah van Creedon. Als u weet wie ben ik zult u doen zoals ik zeg."

"Sono Tallulah di Creedon. Se conoscete che chi sono basterete poichè io dire."

She became frustrated as it didn't understand her. She glanced at a nearby console... " AHA! Ichannsss read this"

She punched in the script: "나가 누구인지 당신이 알고 있는 경우에 당신은 때문에 나 말하기 위하여 하기."

Zepatos glared daggers at her, looking like he was ready to punch her...until one of the security guards took a couple of steps towards them, obviously reading his expression and body language. He reluctantly stepped down.

"Don't break her, I've worked too hard on her for you to skrew her up." Zepatos practically spat, folding his arms and watching her carefully.

At the imput the computer whirred slightly, obviously processing the information with the data it could find on the internet about who she was. It then slowed and replied.

[that is understood]

Zepatos looked stunned and barked at the computer
"Vel'bol?! nau, nindel zhah naut kampi'unus! Usstan orn belbau dos quarthen"
[what?! no, that is not understood! i will give you orders]

[I encourage you to do as she says, sir. she is of high order]

"vith.." Zepatos cursed, seeing he was in no real position to argue. He then glared at Tallulah again. "Fine. Modify her, but if you skrew her up i will make you pay."  

[Near Xephis]

She got close to Zepatos. To close. "IFFFF THERESS ISSH ANY PAYING IT WILL BE YHOOO". She pushed Zepatos with her chilly hands.

She reached into the powergrid and proceed to "weld" her device together.

Zepatos thumped backwards against the wall of the corridor and practically snarled at her. He watched and listened as he fiddled around, generally alarmed by how she 'modified' his ship. That was one scary lady.

"if you'd had wanted to do that, you coudl ahve just asked me." he said moodily, though was glad the shp would pass trhough the shields.

"is that all?" he added bitterly.  

[Near Xephis]

"Yhessss" She spat.

She glared at the security officers. "Shee to it that wheee are cleared to launch"

"In that case, kiindly get the hell off my ship. You're not needed until we return." Zepatos ordered, trying to keep his voice cool so he was listened to.  

[Near Xephis]

"Ahahaha" She cackled at him. "If anything we're letting you say here. I'm not lettings yhou out of mhy sightsss with some of the quadrantssss most dangeroussss equipment, "

"i'm not going anywhere." Zepatos protested. he then nudged past her and sat down at the chair at the helm.
"Fine then. Just sit down and shut up. that goes for you three too." he said, looking at the other crew with a 'don't mess with me i'm having a bad day' expression.

She wasn't pleased by this, but decided to go with it anyway and sat down.

"Yhooo neeedsss to get ussss into the port docking bay of the otherss sssship. Just fly right throughsss both ssships shieldssss"

"Fine." Zepatos replied, still sounding moody. he waited the enterprise to adjust it's airlock and fiddled about with his computer, switching the language over to English for the time-being to make things easier. he also tried to link up to hail the two bridges.

"This is Captain Coralis of the Araname to the USS Enterprise and the USS Proctar'Nul - do you read me?" he hailed, keeping formal, trying to show people taht he could be professional if he wanted to be. After all, they were asking for his help.


"this is Kirk of the enterprise, reading you loud and clear." Kirk responded, glad they'd gotten the ship working. he also hoped that Zepatos' apparent professionalism was an indication he wasn't about to try and run away.  

[Near Xephis]

"Zepatos my dear fellow. I must thank you for your help in this situation" beamed Shern. "Not like you had much choice" he said to remind Zepatos of the position he was in. "We're all open and ready for you to fly in. I trust Tallulah has been of great assistance?"

Zepatos grunted in reluctant acceptance of that and set his own ship to scan the Klingon vessels, utilising some hidden non-starfleet gems of illegal software he had that scanned the ships. While the range was narrow and short the information was detailed - it had been used by pirates to analyse their quarry, namely their distress signals.
"yeah tallulah's a sweetheart." he replied with acidic sarcasm and glanced over the readout form the data scan.
"The klingons don't seem like they're gonna blast me out of the sky. Their weapons are powered down. They're instead hailing someone outside of their ships on a coded frequency. Long range."
he informed them. he was more concerned that his ship wouldn't get blasted out of the sky while he made the transferral, but he knew the information woudl also be useful to the captains.


"How'd you know that?" Kirk asked, sounding impressed. he knew their software couldn't stretch to that level of detail - in fact, he didn't know it was possible. Still, the news pleased him, initially at least. they hypothesis was true. "ok, so we're going to expect Nero to turn up at some point..great. Hurry up Zepatos, we need those warheads."

Zepatos guided his ship out, using it mainly on manual as ever through a number of joysticks, switches and buttons. While he liked his computer, he didn't rely on it for too much - it tended to get a little buggy, and the Ai was certainly basic.

"i'm just heading your way, Shern." he said simply
