"Yeah, it ain't no thing," Jules said. "-Someone- has to give the kid a path to follow, and if I didn't know any better, I'd think I smelled some ozone on you guys."
"Well that wouldn't have been any good," Klonoa said. "I was kinda thinking I should move on from business. Some of the folk around here think I'm weird because I haven't aged in the last twenty years. And it's been twenty years since I've adventured. These legs could use a little stretching out."

"Yeeeah...that would be Tristen giving us a shock this morning." I said to him. "He was apparently dreaming something fierce and well. Yea." Freth commented. "Got all three of us, actually." I said. Tristen rubbed the back of his head. He still regrets it for the most part. "Still though, you, Klonoa? Leaving the Windy Step for the time being? I wouldn't have imagined you doing that." I said. "With or without what the public was starting to think. Then again, giving my track record on figuring out people as of late...yea, I am pretty much bound to be wrong."

Klonoa shrugged. "You're an Articuno, you imagine doing the same thing twenty years."
"It kinda depresses me that you look like a kid but you've been running a bar for as long as I've been living," Jules mused.
"I could always find a way to get you to live a thousand or so years~" Klonoa said with a wink. "After all, I knew a Flareon that didn't age. Kinda fitting, since his best friend was a Vulpix."

"Actually I had that intention per se." I said, sweatdropping. Someone apparently forgot what was in store for me once my teacher retired. Even then, I had intentions to mix things up a little every now and then. I knew what I was in for the most part. As the adults, or those allegedly for that matter, talked. Tristen sat down on the ground. He was a bit anxious to get to work, but for the moment, he was getting a bit bored.

"I think I still have sand in my ears." Sub said as he walked down the stairs until the main area of HQ, wearing nothing but a pair of black shorts and a towel over his head as he wiggled his pinky into his ear. "Next time I'm wearing a full head mask and goggles."

"Just be glad you don't have a body full of fur," Night said, sitting on a couch and carefully running a comb through one of her tails. A small pile of sand was already starting to form beside her.

Ms Edyn "Just be glad you don't have a body full of fur," Night said, sitting on a couch and carefully running a comb through one of her tails. A small pile of sand was already starting to form beside her. "That's kind of gross." Sub said as he eyed the pile of sand. "Doesn't all that fur get annoying? Seems like a lot of maintenance." He commented.

"Not much different from you picking sand out of your ears," Night said in response to the gross comment, "It can be a pain sometimes, especially when you get caught in a sandstorm or something, but other times its relatively easy." Once she'd finished combing the sand from one tail, she sat back and stretched her arms above her head before grabbing another, "So, how much do you know about snakes?"

He said removing his pinky from his ear and took the towel off of his head, throwing it over his shoulder. "Snakes? Well, I know they shed a lot and make good boots." He said with a laugh.

Night rolled her eyes, "I'm not about to turn this thing into boots. I ask cause I can't figure out its gender." As she spoke, Night stopped brushing her tail and pulled out the pokeball that now held her new brown Arbok, "Never really had a snake before, so don't really know much about them."

"Well, how hard can it be? Obviously they don't like cold. Though I would be careful with that particular Arbok, it was one of Ein's experiments and even though it seems to have lost its massive size upon defeat it still holds some strong chi and appears to have preference for Ground type moves as its coloration dictates." He pointed out. "Wonder what made it grow like that so briefly though..." He pondered.

"Oh, I know all that. I just don't know what to name it. Don't wanna give it a girlie name if it's a boy, ya know?" She looked back down at the small ball in her hand before grinning up at Sub, "What do you say we find out just how nasty this thing is now that it's captured."

Night shrugged, "Nothing much. Was just planning on releasing it and seeing if it attempted to eat us or not. Maybe test to see if it follows simple commands and all." She stood and began making her way towards the door, "Though, we should probably do this outside. Just in case it does decide to grow big again, if it can I mean, don't want it destroying the place, right?"

Just got it where it needs to be." He said following Night out the door.
