Im telling you, playing as Maul, you can see how much a** he kicks. he cuts through troopers like a saw blade.
the bad part is is that you have to use the CIS to play as him.

Juyo is the original form. Vaapad is Windu's refined form.

Juyo relies heavily on emotion, but Mace is probably the only one in the galaxy who hasn't fallen to the Dark side when using it.

Another thing to mention is that many of the lightsaber styles seem to try and cover a weakness (ataru for old age, for example)....

Mace stated that Form III has no weakness. I knew I loved that style!

You should know that.

I guess I shouldn't say weakness. They sort of.. cover for a personal trait or emphasize a desire to bring out a trait.

Lets start from the top:

Form One is possibly an admission to not be able to be complex; humbleness
Form Two, i'll get back to, lemme think on it.
Form III, no weakness. a true jedi form. no regrets.
Form IV, in the case of Yoda/sidious, age and mobility
Form V, vader's emotions.
Form VI, uncertainty.
Form VII, Mace windu, his inner darkness.


I'd assume form II would be for those confident in their situations. and those whom are insecure, though the examples for form II are Dooku and Mundi, two totally different people.

If someone can find a link between the two, maybe that's what its for...

Yes, its a character trait. But its also a weakness, because arrogance usually makes a person underestimate the problem and attempt to do things he normally wouldn't consider doing. Arrogance is a superior attitude through false assumptions.

As i like to put it, boasting is only confidence if you can back it up.

No, its a character trait that is a weakness. Like let's take ataru, whos weakness is aging. It would make sense for Yoda and sidious, but not Aalya secura. Its not really aging, but more of an attempt to cover for lack of physical strength the task demands. Yoda couldn't fight without the force aiding his attack, because old farts just don't move that fast.

You get my drift? Styles usually cover for character flaws, not necessarily weaknesses. Mace windu was covering for inner darkness, which is not necessarily a weakness in itself, but a trait which he did not want to expose on the outside.

Its kind of hard to describe. A style usually is linked to a character personality trait which one wishes not to expose, but he or she might (like dooku for example) expose it anyway.

Kai-Adi- Mundi versus Dooku. Both used form II, but kai decided to emphasize his calmness and confidence, while dooku tried hiding his arrogance.
