Larry [/blue]Larry turned towards the one who answered him to see that it was the chief of the organization. "Chief," Larry said in surprise, standing at attention. "I do appoligize if my shouting disturbed you." Unfortunately, as Larry said that Pit caught site of the chief's food and darted for him. Larry didn't even have time to restrain him.

Bisquit_Boys Larry [/blue]Larry turned towards the one who answered him to see that it was the chief of the organization. "Chief," Larry said in surprise, standing at attention. "I do appoligize if my shouting disturbed you." Unfortunately, as Larry said that Pit caught site of the chief's food and darted for him. Larry didn't even have time to restrain him. "Hm? Oh, don't mention it. I'm more used to noise than I am to quiet, doesn't bother me one bit." He said with a shrug as he took another bite of his Leppa Berry, in the real world one might compared Leppa Berries to apples, makes you wonder why they call such large fruits berries, oh well. "Oh, hey there, hungry?" Sub said to Pit as he pulled a Leppa Berry from his pocket, he had taken two from the kitchen. "Here." He said tossing the fruit to the Pokemon.

Larry Pit opened it's mouth wide like a sharpedo to catch the flying berries, munching hungrily. "Here we go," Larry thought, seeing Pit standing up and jumping for more. "He's on another crazy food spree." Larry took out his Poké Ball before Pit could do any more food consumption, returning him quickly into the orb. "Now that that's settled," Larry said, putting the Poké Ball away, "There's something I've been meaning to ask you anyway. What better time than now while your free. It's been bugging me for a long time. You and that other vet who I assume holds a high rank here." Larry didn't know that this man was actually one of the second in commands in the organization.

Reno, finally having had enough of his stupid idea, walked over to the boss and this new guy that was there. Giving a small wave, he asked, "So 'ose this bloke?"

Larry Larry greeted the incoming Reno with a, "Pleased to make your aquantince," followed by a hearty handshake. "So Sub," Larry continued, "Lately, meaning not long after I joined, I've being seeing these weird looking guys, whatever you'd call them. I wanted to ask you about this, because I thought asking one of the actual Pokémon people would be prying. Anyway, I'm a bit mystified here. Before not to long ago, I'd never even heard of a Pokémon person or even anyone with powers like one."

"So Sub," Larry continued, "Lately, meaning not long after I joined, I've being seeing these weird looking guys, whatever you'd call them. Before not to long ago, I'd never even heard of a Pokémon person or even anyone with powers like one.""You mean hybrids?" Sub said as he finished his Leppa Berry and tossed it into the trash. "They are half Pokemon, and half human...to put it in a simple sense. Granted, not all of them are completely half of each, some go more than one way than the other, then there are also Channelers, full humans but have powers similar to hybrids but not the same, but I digress. What did you want to know about them?" He asked.

With that kind of power he wouldn't need a Pokémon, though he'd still keep them to presrve the bonds. "Yes." Sub simply said. "It's possible for anyone to become a Channeler or a Hybrid in fact. While Hybrids are a cross between human and Pokemon and thus have the abilities of one, Channelers draw their strengths from their Pokemon, with the use of an item called an Artifact which draws out a Pokemon's power for a Channeler to use. It takes a lot of training, and a very tight bond between the Channeler and the Pokemon. Io is a special, if not strange case. I don't pretend to understand it but she was able to channel without a Pokemon, she claims this meteorite granted her the power. But regardless, yes, one can become a Channeler." He explained.

"Very keen observation." Sub said to Reno, listening to his theory. "You just might be right. We can perhaps confirm this after observing the meteorite we had taken from her." He said.

"So your telling me she that all that was because of one of the Pokémon, well that would explain things I suppose. I'm guessing she either sucked the power out of it like a leech or she just was given a bit of the power. Either way, those Pokémon should have been weakened by something like that, and they seemed fine to me."

Hawk found his way out of his room in time to overhear something about Channelers. He remembered seeing some kind of magic doohickey being done. With his body sore, but generally healed, Hawk made his way up to Sub, Reno and Larry. Hawk opened his mouth to speak to Sub, but stopped. "Uhm, hey!" He rose a hand to the other two. "I don't think we've met properly. I'm Susan Hawk. Uhhh not really all that important at the moment, but I saw you guys last mission and.. wasn't in the mindset for introductions." Hawk adjusted his Trench coat and hat. For some reason, his tone was.. oddly serious. This probably didn't mean much to the new guys, but it would be obvious to anyone who knew how sassy Hawk usually was.
"On the subject of Channelers." Hawk said, folding his arms and taking a look at Sub. "Is there... like some kind of resource we can use to find out more? I never thought about it before, but.. does this place have a library?"

Larry Larry turned towards the newcomer who introduced himelf to Larry. "Pleased to make your aquantince," Larry said, shaking Hawk's hand. "I'm Larry, the last name doesn't matter. I remember you were one of the ones on the team mission. Well met."

Reno shook his head at his statement. "I 'ave done my research on this stuff and the Channelers just use the Pokemon as a way to configure their chi into a specific form. Only in the gravest of situations would they draw 'eavily from their pokemon, in which case the Pokemon would allow such." How Reno knew this, he would never say. Not yet, anyway.
