Unless my anatomy is off, and it well could be, wouldn't that region just below his navel be his pubic mound, which would situate the waistline of his jeans just at the top of his naughtybits?

Apparently you've never seen how most men where their pants. I lived in NYC, and almost every guy, other than business men, had their jeans low enought that you could see a good amount of their boxers. Some even had them baggy to their thighs, but wore really long shirts.

All that tells me is that they need to invest in a good leather belt.

I mean, I'm all for freedom of expression, but dressing in stuff that just barely fits you is stupid and serves no point.
