"Oh yeah I forgot he was part monk." Tsuki said, joining in as well. Readjusting his egg he added "I'm not really from a specific city. Moved around too much." with a shrug. It had sucked, having little friends but he loved seeing all of Johto and Kanto. Like one big adventure.

"Why is everyone always fascinated about me once being a monk?" Sub said out loud as he folded his arms, huffing. "I would like to forget it myself...any who, I'll be down in the lab if any one needs me." He said walking off, heading for the stairs leading down to the lab, he wanted to get a look at this meteorite, and do a little research.

"I'm gonna 'elp 'im, since I appear to have crazy knowledge on the subject." Following behind Sub, he released his Pokemon, including his new addition, Axew. Looking at the Axew, he thought up a nickname on the spot. "Fenrir. Thats your name buddy."
Walking into the lab, Reno saw a few pieces of breakable machinery and quickly put his Pokemon back in their balls. Walking over to the meteorite, Reno felt a small tug, almost like it was attracting him. Raising an eyebrow, he asked, "Sub, should I be worried if the meteorite is almost......attracting me?"

"Someone is eating ice cream." Sub said as he stopped and stood still once he entered the lab, he shrugged off the vibe and went towards the table which the meteorite sat on. "Hm? What do you mean by that?" Sub said as he turned around to face Reno. He didn't like the idea that this rock was drawing people in. Sure, Io acted like the meteorite was sentient and chose her, but he just thought she was crazy. Perhaps there was more to this rock.

Reno's typical smirk turned into a fearful look, as his eyes kept going to the meteorite. Moving his fingers around a bit, Reno felt like his energies were being synced up with the meteorite, at least partially. "It feels like it wants me to use it. Like it's.....syncing up with me." He knew that was an odd explanation, but it was the best he had.

He knew that was an odd explanation, but it was the best he had. "Really now..." Sub said as he cocked an eyebrow at Reno. He knew power corrupted people, but could it literally corrupt them? As in influence them? Was this rock actively doing something to Reno? He had to know. "Reno, touch the meteorite, tell me what you feel." He said as he fumbled with a Pokeball in his pocket.

Reno shrugged and cautiously grabbed the meteorite. Twitching slight, Reno felt a new power sort of envelope him. Looking to one of his Pokeballs, he jokingly raised a hand and tried to use the Force. Surprisingly the Pokeball moved, shocking Reno to no end. Trying to move the energy within himself, he felt that he was incomplete, that some portion was missing.
"Its weird. I can feel a load of power, but its like I only have a portion. But with this meteorite, I can feel my chi go through....something and come back to do the work." Looking around, he saw Phemes, his Beldum floating around. Nodding, Reno still wondered why he felt incomplete right now.

"Interesting." Sub said as he slid the meteorite away from Reno, made him feel uncomfortable. "Other than Pokemon I'm the only one who has touched this thing in our team and I've felt nothing, curious." He said folding his arms, though this might just be him, Miles once noted he had a Chi not unlike a Dark type's, any who. "I don't like this thing. It makes me uncomfortable to know that somewhere there are more fragments. I wonder if anyone else has found any."

Reno looked around at the area, feeling strange now that he couldn't sense the area. Shaking his head, he asked Sub, "Mind if I keep that? It could be useful, if we need a surprise. 'O would expect me to 'ave something like that?" Reno had started to cipher out what he was missing in the chi combination, but it kept that insight to himself.

"I think we'll just keep it down here for now...I want to look at it some more. Get a reading of Io's chi signature, compare it to the meteorite, stuff like that. You understand, right?" Sub said as he eyed Reno suspiciously.

Reno held his hands defensively, seeing the suspicion in Sub's eyes. " 'Ey, no need to look at me like that. I'm not 'ere just ta steal it." Having finally ciphered out what had made him able to use it, he added, "I know 'ow I was able to use it. I 'ave Phemes to convert the chi, and something in my pack that might have jump started my chi affinity." Reaching into his backpack, Reno pulled out the Latios feather, showing Sub.

Sub's suspicious look now turned towards the Latios feather Reno pulled out, he wasn't too sure what it was, but it seemed unusual. "A feather?" He said in a blunt tone.

Smirking, he waved the feather a bit. "This 'ere is a Latios feather. And if I remember correctly, Latios is a Psychic/Dragon. So it would kick start something like that, right?"
