Shishuri raised an eyebrow. "No wonder Ryukai attacked. He hates other vampires."

"You honestly couldn't tell I was a vampire from looking? This is great news!"

Shishuri laughed. "And I'm pretty suprised, too. I have the sharpest eye from... Our clan..." She muttered the last two words. She turned around and fled. Once out of view, she sat down and cried.

Lore hugged Mobius back tightly and laughed. Though her eyes softened as she watched the young girl flee from over Mobius shoulder, still in his arms. "My little halfling," she growled playfully and nipped at his ear.

"Ow! Hey, I actually felt that! Yay! ... Is she going to be alright?"

Ryukai, calmed down, went to Shishuri. "It's okay, oneechan."

Shishuri embraced him, still sobbing. "I... I know..."

Lore looked up at him, "I'm not sure...something about her seems so sad, it kinda makes me sad too." She rubbed the back of her head, for some reason feeling a lot sheepish.

Ryukai led her back to the tree, and they climbed it together. They stared at the stars, Shishuri still teary eyed.

"Should we go check up on them?"

Meera looked on, separate figures in groups, and bit her lip in frustration.

Lore didn't answer at first. She was focusing on something far away, her eyes misty looking. Finally, she turned from him towards the direction of Meera. "Miz Meera!! Wanna help us check on them?" There was a smile on her face as her hair seemed to shrink back into her head and turn back to it's blondish color.

Ryukai looked at the sky, sighing. "Oneechan, do you think that the sky will stay like this for eternity?"

Shishuri smiled. "I'm sure it will, Ryukai-kun."

Ryukai simply nodded, twirling the scroll in his hand. "Oneechan... Do you remember the day I inherited this scroll?"

Shishuri nodded. "You had to kill them after they refused. I still feel guilty..." Her voice trailed off.

Meera gasped, surprised by Lore's discovery.
She shook her head, quickly and responded, quietly, "I should not become a disturbance," before ducking back further into the wooded area.

He sighed. "Her flesh is clean, but her heart is wounded beyond measure. She is broken, and as a delicate vase, it will take time to fix. That was a nice thing of you to do Lore, but I think this is something she'll have to work out for herself..."

Lore frowned sadly. "Still....I don't want her to be so sad...even if she was kinda mean to me in the begining, ya know? I like it hen people smile."
