Sarah watched Aya kill the beast. She already knew she was infected, but this show of events was a dead give away. She turned her attention to the axe she'd given to her. She reached down to pick it up. Damn it was heavy. She saw the thing swing at her.
"C'mon...c'mon..." She muttered.
If she just lost it, even for a minute. Lose control of her virus, become stronger, she'd have to regain that control at some point. But the thing was going to kill everyone if they didn't kill it. Sarah waited untill the axe was feet away from her to sidestep clear out of the way. She was almost begging the virus to take control, just this once. She remembered in the Hive, with George. The way she almost lost it, the redness and the pain. Like in that white room before when she did the same thing. Only she had no clue what the outcome of that was.
Sarah's angry red eyes shifted to the dead boy's body. Almost cut clean in half. Then she focused on the beast again. She took a deep breath, she had to give away all control. She dodged again and stood by the axe. But the swing of the blade came sideways this time, enough to cut her in half if she hadn't of ducked, swiping her own feet out from under her.
Her hands searched for the handle as her vision flashed red. Yes, it was working. She was lusing control of her rage. The axe came down again, this time straight forward as she could see the blade grow closer. Time seemed like it would be in slow motion for a moment, her vision stopped flashing and remained a blood red. Her hands gripped the handle lifting it up like it wasn't as heavy as it was, pulling it up to block part of the swing, dodging it when it came down. Swinging the heavy axe at its legs. And it peirced its hard flesh.
The axe Sarah held cut clean through the legs of it. She was suprised inside but, on the outside...and another part of her subconscious, was just loving the feel of it. The phsycopathic Sarah swung again, this time, the head came clean off. Though it wasn't a clean cut, rather messy actually. Blood splattered and the beast dropped its axe and collapsed. It's headless, legless body to the floor.
Sarah dropped hers as soon as it decapitated it. She stumbled back and dropped to her knees. Vision still bloodred.
"No no no....." She muttered as her head throbbed at the lack of control.
