I still need to give their other albums a listen (I only have City of Evil and have heard samples from the Self Titled album and then one other)..but I'm less likely to like the more "heavy" metal stuff because I don't particularly like screaming I can't understand. The Self Titled album is amazing. Haha, Shadows is quite good at that! The self titled album Shadows had to take a break from screaming because of his vocal cords, so the self titled album is a lot more mellow with Country influences. Great album. I think that no one will regret buying the new album, I have a feeling, and based on Nightmare, that it will be an awesome album. Haha, I did that too. Just look them up on Youtube first, maybe.
It was just a heavy album. Progressively from Waking The Fallen, they have toned it down. Avenged Sevenfold was probably their most mellow album to date. I'll give you recommendations if you want some. |
