Af Mas I can't sleep. For some reason, I think I'm not handling the disappointment as well as I should, among other things bothering me. Great, I love waking up early on a Sunday morning @_@
*pets af, then goes on a rant* Let's go outback tonight~ The world be there tomorroww~ I swear that song is so true. Everyone stresses so much.. and they don't seem to get that they can take a step back from it, and relax.. and come back to it. Sure, there are deadlines, there are time limits, but honestly, do you think you can meet those when you're so fried you can't see straight?
I'm not saying everyone's problems aren't important, and I'm not saying they should be ignored. I'm saying that people need to take a step back, remove themselves from the problem.. Relax a bit, and then come back, and take another crack at it. It's amazing what taking even just a few minutes away from reality can do for you.
Everyone lives such rushed lives today, that you're all going to die really early! If you're in such a hurry to live life, Death will rush to meet you at the end! So take it easy everybody, slow down. Live slower, breathe slower, enjoy life at a slower pace.. You'd be amazed at what it can do for you.
Now, I gotta go fix my leg, I tweaked it and now the joint needs one of it's many parts fixed up. Back later~!

Today isn't going well, and i've been awake maybe an hour.
I'm trying not to cry, I've got to keep walking this tightrope of raising a green tree python.
I've been in contact with Simon Tang, his breeder, and apparently he hasn't eaten for five weeks before I got him. I'm scared. I've gotten attatched to him! Very attattched! I don't want him to die! I feel SO helpless! There isn't anything I can do for him, he's just to small for anything to be done via veteranary care. All I can do is mist him twice aday, weigh him, keep his cage clean, his tempatures up and offer food. I stayed up til five watching him, making sure he's okay, that his branch dosen't fall off the perch.
...Simon will be comming here tommarrow to discuss him and hopefully show me how to feed him.
Its so hard to work with snakes. Patience is a definite virtue that I lack but am now learning. Patience, precition, persisstance, and optomisim is what you need in this trade. Some snakes are good feeders, others will go off-feed if you so much as look at them funny.
This is how it is with exotics. I am lucky, though, that I have a breeder like Simon to hold my hand. He is the third breeder Ive worked with, and by far the best. He's willing to stay in contact, he's not in it for the money, he's not trying to get rid of his babies, he's taking care of them, and their new parents. Its nice to have somone like that when your working on a case like this.
...I'm so frustrated and scared of loosing my little baby. This just can't be happening. neutral
