Watching Snips getting hammered like that made Reno cringe. Seeing the Darmantian hit Snips with a flaming uppercut, he already knew he was down. Reaching for his Pokeball, he was shocked when the Snivy got up, despite all his injuries. Seeing Snips turn and give him a nod, Reno gave a despairing smirk, he ordered, "Snips, use Leaf Blade."
Snips gave a small growl, it's Overgrow ability giving the Leaf Blade it pulled out a longer reach and more power. Rushing forward, Snips slipped between the Darmantian's legs, hopped onto it's back and began to hack away. Seeing his Snivy do this, Reno couldn't help but give a smirk at it's hardiness.

Part of me was praising that little Snivy's determination, but at the same time, I couldn't help but wonder how it kept going in the face of powerful attacks like Bug Bite an Fire Punch that both -
That both were Physical attacks!
That's it! Snivy must have a high Defense if it's still up after all that. "Alright, Darmanitan, time to hit it with a different kind of attack! Use Overheat!"
All at once, fire flooded outward from every inch of Darmanitan's body, spiraling outward in an explosion of extreme heat. Snivy, being so consumed by concentration in it's attack, would likely be unable to escape in time.

Snips kept up it's attack, despite the intense heat building up around it. Rather than order it away or do anything, Reno just watched as his Snivy passed out from the heat, still hacking at the Darmantian's back. Returning Snips to his Pokeball, Reno pulled out his other first Pokemon. Throwing the ball, Tesei emerged from within, already aiming for the Darmantian.
"Tesei, use 'Ydro Pump." Reno ordered, the Shellder bracing against the ground before firing off a massive blast of water at the Darmantian. The Overheat, mixed with the poison and repeated Leaf Blade hits, should have weakened the Darmantian. This would just add to that pain.

Freya located Dan and Alex, apparently they were using the Training Field. Interesting. It appeared it was one of the many places the girl hadn't been to as of yet. "Hoverboard lessons?" She said, walking over with a smile. As per usual, Pikachu and Eevee were riding shotgun on her shoulders. It was a good thing they were light otherwise her shoulders would be really sore by now. Speaking of sore, Freya had officially made a full recovery from her hangover and was feeling like her old self again. "Nice to see who your number one girl is, Dan." She teased.

Krystal watched, unsure of what to do or say. What could she do? It's not like she knew what was even going on or who these people were. Heck, aside from her sister, Dan and Terashi, along with maybe two or three other members of Snagem, Krystal knew next to no one. When her blond boyfriend did begin to make his way to towards the lobby, she followed him silently, preferring to watch for the moment. Not that anything she could have said would have mattered as almost instantly the two began a Pokemon battle.

Larry
The sound of shouting could be heard coming from the bedrooms. Specifically, the sound was Larry screaming, "Nooo!" By now he'd realized that his Pokémon egg had hatched, so he decided to see what was coming out. Much to his dismay, a Nidoran came out rather than the baby Pokémon he'd wanted, Riolu. He was always screaming because the Nidoran bared a striking resemblence to a Raticate, and Larry had a think against rats. The Nidoran rubbed its head against Larry's leg affectionately, though Larry still had the shivers. He wasn't afraid of rats or anything, he just didn't like them. "Look on the bright side," Larry thought, trying to calm himself, "At least its not a rat." That seemed to calm him down as he kneeled down to look over his new addition. "I think I'll call you," Larry began, "Pins, on account of your pointy quils. I woul call you Spike, but I figure that Pins would be more suited to a female like yourself." Standing up, Larry decided to take the Nidoran for a tour around Snagem. "C'mon Pins," Larry said, leading the Pokémon into the lobby. He still had mixed feelings about the Nidoran, but he figured a little time would get rid of the feeling.

Alex unfolded her board and made sure to follow Dan's instructions to a T. So far she was doing well, keeping a steady balance on the board. But this process was boring. Alex wanted to zip and zoom around already but she didn't know how to accelerate. "...Are you referring to yourself?" he asked grinned. Ok so maybe he kind of, sorta left her behind back there by accident. "So, feeling any better? You seem much better" Dan grinned.

Freya couldn't help but grin back at him, shaking her head slightly. "Smooth, very smooth." She commented with a laugh, turning her eyes to Alex for a moment or two before looking back at Dan and sliding her hand into his. "Yeah, I feel a lot better. Especially now that I've washed that stench off. Hey, Alex, shift your left foot back and you'll find a small pedal! Push on it!" Knowing the small blond girl, she wanted to zip and zoom so zip and zoom she shall - assuming she even stayed on the board.

Oh yeah...Garbodor. Just thinking of it made him a bit queasy. Alex's face lit up as Freya told her how to move. "Oh! Thanks Freya!" "W-Wait! I didn't finish my-" Dan started to say before the small blonde girl zoomed off. "...explanation" he huffed. Well that aside, Alex seemed to be steering fine around the room. Naturally, she was probably steering the same way Dan was when he rode his- by surfing. Essentially, the teen found it to be the same without the restrictions of water. "Alex use the pedal on the right of the accelerator to brake" he called out to her and hoped she heard him.

Laughing, Freya patted Dan softly. "You of all people should know that Alex would rather go full speed than slow down for anything." She watched the girl zoom around, grinning and shaking her head before looking to him again. "So, any kind of plans for today?"

Dear Miles...
I started to finally get around to writing as I sat there. I had to think for a moment on how to get my words together.
I guess I should kick things off by apologizing to you. I had a bit of a revelation recently; one that occurred to me in the heat of things. For the longest, I thought I was ready to face you as a competitor of sorts. I have to admit, before your visit, your letter had me a bit riled up to just see how far have I progressed. Your visit here had me anxious for us to go have at it, just for the hell of it in some way shape or form. Don't get me wrong, I would still like to spar with you, but, at this moment, I come to realize that I don't think I would be ready for it. I still do have quite a ways to go.
I met someone recently...no more than 48 hours ago as of this letter. A Xatu hybrid. I don't think he was native to Hyda, given mannerisms and such. Thing of it, apparently he was trained by something fierce. I come later to find out that he was apparently trained by some sort of Psychic master. The Xatu hybrid in particular called it 'training through hell', which considering what I faced, I am almost inclined to believe it. While at the end of the day, I did win against him over all, it wasn't without being humiliated twice over and nearly losing Tristen's trust in me. That in itself is regrettably a story. It was during this time where I realized if I was having such a hard time against him, how long would I have lasted against you? For that matter, in hindsight, I was barely able to hold ground for some length of time against Remy. I am humbled, Miles.
I sat back in the chair and thought for a moment once again. I then perked up then looked behind me. Sigilyph was there, looking over my shoulder. "..........yes?" I asked.

Dan sighed knowing well that Freya was right. Still, she'd have to stop sometime, at least he would think. "Plans? No not really. Why, is there something you want to do?" he asked.
Alex was having the time of her life. She'd definitely be using this thing alot, just about everywhere she went. Hitting the brake she finally came to a halt and stepped off the board. The moment she did, the girl lost balance and fell. Perhaps she wasn't used to it just yet.

Freya shrugged, not having any real plans or anything like that or, really, any plans at all. "Nope, just wondering. It'll be nice to have a bit of relaxation, don't you think?"Though a thought occurred to her. "Hey, Alex, you handled Z pretty well in Ecruteak. Have you done any other battling?" She asked, moving over to help the girl to her feet.

The teen seemed to contemplate some relaxing. Afterall, it was only a matter of time before trouble started up. When in Snagem, you come to expect it. Taking the brunette's hand, Alex stood and dusted herself off. She proceed to pack the board away since she was done riding...for now. "Nope. Just did what I learned from tv. Other than type matchups, I can't say I know too much... Hey, let's have a battle? It's perfecct since we're already here" she pointed out. "That's not a bad idea. It could really help since you'll probably have to battle in missions" Dan added.

Freya grinned at the suggestion of a battle, always loving an opportunity for one. "Battling is also good training. So, yeah, alright, let's you and I have a battle, Alex!"Now she was getting just as excited as the blonde girl though she wasn't planning on going easy on her just because she lacked experience. If Freya did go easy on her, how would she even learn? "Okay, get into position and we'll start whenever you're ready." She told her, unable to help but grin.
