Not going to lie though, so far I've found the Tenchu: Shadow Assasins to be pretty fun.

Yeah. Just came out last week and I picked it up yesterday. It is kind of refreshing when they out right tell you that you can't block bullets with a sword. It makes you feel more of a ninja than many games out there, though Tenchu has always been like that. That's not to say there isn't any mystical uber ninja crap, but you have to kill the guards stealthily.
