Butchered Hetalia rp. . . (working title)

[Lucia Vargas]

Francis blushed lightly, listening to her. Enjoying her heart and voice. "Yes, ma'am.." He said in a reluctant tone, closing his eyes. He could sleep if he tried hard enough. Just didn't want to. Yet.

Lucia smiled softly and once the gel was rubbed in kept rubbing anyway soothing him. "Ssh." She whispered in the song. Her sing was in time with her heart. She wanted to soothe him, help him get better. She wanted to be there for him forever. When she moved on to the next song she changed the key so she wouldn't have to sing so loud to get to the high notes.

Francis did feel soothed. His own heartbeat slowed to the rhythm of her song and he hummed along just because he could. Music was her soul, her inspiration and it became his. Her music did anyway.

Lucia smiled feeling the vibrations of his humming to her song. He'd appreciate it. It was a French song. In French. No English. A song about how much a woman loved her husband and didn't think she'd be able to live a moment without him. She changed it too a different song though. "Say you love me every waking moment, say the word and I will follow you, share each day with me each night, each morning, anywhere you go let me go too. Love me, that's all I ask of you."

Francis listened to the song, his muscles relaxing. He did appreciate her singing, no matter what language the song was. He felt sleepy, almost, now. His body leaned into hers a bit more, not speaking as to keep from interrupting her.

Lucia smiled softly and just let him be continuing to sing and stroke his arm pulling the blankets up close. Her grandparents came in and fed her some soup so she wouldn't get sick either. She had a sandwich too and sipped water for a break then took up singing again. Her poor sick Frenchman. She'd take good care of him.

Francis smiled in his now sleepy state, wrapping his arms around her waist. "Je.. t'aime." He whispered, coughing mid way. He wouldn't be this way if he didn't trust her. To take care of him. She would, and he was for sure her grandparents would help.

Lucia felt completely honoured at that moment. She could feel now he trusted her completely. She never ever wanted to break that trust. "Ti amo." She whispered back. She'd have so much stuff ready so she could take proper care of him. Let him know he had put his trust into her completely and that she would never look at him with pity. Ever. Worry, never pity.

Francis fell into a light state of sleep, letting whatever happened when he did take over. Even if he happened to snore, he'd let it happen. He dreamed of her indefinitely, seeing her take care of him. Only, he wasn't sick as he was now.. It was, in a future event. Because their daughter was there. And he seemed a lot worse than what he was now. Because he wasn't getting better. He moaned in his sleep quietly, tossing slightly.

"Ssh~" She whispered. The nurse came in quietly at the moment with a smile and checked him over. "It's just a small chest infection." She whispered. "I'll give him an injection of this." The nurse went on to explain. "He'll be fine by Tuesday." He'd tossed a little out of her arms but she kept him still as the nurse gave him the shot. She hoped it wouldn't wake him. "Fluids and rest is what he needs now. Oh and Lucia, you aren't pregnant. Stress has caused it to stop okay?" The nurse grinned at Lucia who blushed and nodded. "Oh and no sex for at least two weeks. To make sure he's better." Then she left. Lucia had some more to eat then went back to looking after her Frenchman. She was so happy he'd get better.

Francis' dream only became more bizarre. He saw Lucy comforting their daughter and the window opening, only to let in a large, purple shaded, flying mint bunny who jabbed a tiny needle right into his vein. He didn't speak, barely moved, just stared on in utter amazement until the rabbit flew away. "Lucy... Wha-What was.. that?" He asked, still in his dream and seeing that his wife was rejoicing. Over what? He was going to be okay.

Lucia watched him with a soft smile, his colour was already coming back. "Just something to help you get better." She whispered noticing his frown. Her hands gently caressed his shoulder and ran through his hair. She didn't know what he was dreaming about. But from his frown, she suspected it was either a good dream turned weird or he was having a mild nightmare. But he looked so cute when he was confused.

Francis' expression soon eased, though, once the medicine began to kick in. His chest was beginning to feel a bit better, which was still an improvement. He curled up closer to his Lucy and began a light snore, only occasional. That wasn't ordinary. But at least he felt peace, with his love beside him.

Lucia gave a little laugh, quiet as she could, as he snored but then she tilted his head a little opening his airways a bit and it stopped. She wasn't tired at all. So her grandparents brought in her homework and something to put her books on so she would write. They put on some soft classical music in the background as she worked. All this stuff was too easy for her and she finished it in under three hours. Afternoon tea was next, a cup of tea and a Jammy Dodger. And during all this Lucia managed to ease herself into her green sun dress. She was sure France would be impressed. Maybe a little miffed she hadn't spent the whole time focused on him. But he hadn't woken up at all so really. . . she didn't want to be bored and annoy him. She hoped he'd understand.

Francis did eventually wake up, however, and when he did he looked around until he saw his Lucy. Not upset at all and honestly feeling much better. "Bonjour, mon cher." He said softly but knew she could hear it.
