"But don't you think it hurts others...That it'll make them want to try to fix it? That it'll somehow make it better than before?"

She shrugged lightly. "I don't know. From what I've seen they just either give up or move on with their lives being completly miserable...." Her tail tapped against the log. "If it was good before...then how can it be better afterwards?"

Satin looked down, thinking his words carefully. "Because...It's in their nature to love. And it's in their nature to need someone...And it's in their hearts to forgive. It may take a day, it may take a year...And some can't wait that long, so they get their memories wiped...But they still learn to love. They don't have much to learn as it is in them to love. However, some feel that each hardship will never pass, but it does, and things get better in time. Things always get better in time." He looked up and gave her a small smile. "And that I say from experience."

"How can things really get better in time? For those who try and wait it's like agony to them. Always thinking about when that day might come when it does get better. And what if it never gets better?" She looked at him slightly, her bright green eyes shimmering softly before she looked down at the ground. "And just how would you know? You've probably never felt the hardships they have."

Satin grinned, his eyes smaller and shining. "They know that the end will come and they work through it. They look foreward to that day, and when it comes, it's like being rewarded for all their hard work. And one of the best things that'll happen is that it would have seemed like forever to get there and then finally reaching the point of happiness makes it seem more fruitful." He looked at her, his eyes still shining from tears that threatened to fall. His smile still remained as he thought. "And I know from when I was a child. I don't remember much, but I remember that day when everything was right. When everything got better. That was the day I learned to play the flute. That's why my emotions mix with the music. Because music releases all my pain and anguish. Other kats have passions that release theirs too."

White sighed lightly, twiddling her thumbs a bit. "And what if the end of it never comes? What if it just continues to go on? Then what are they to do? Would they just live in misery for the rest of their lives?..."

"They go to the Godess of Memories." Satin looked down sadly. "No one should have to, but some just can't bear it and ask her to erase their memories." He sighed and looked at the baby. "But then they lead good lives afterwards, making new families, meeting new mates. Making better memories."

"Then I guess that's the only choice in the end. Looseing all your memories of happy times before the misery set in. Doesn't sound like much of a world I'd want to be apart of.....and then it'll all just happen again. You find that good time then it gets miserable and you have your memories erased. What good is it to find happiness when in the end it ends up the same as before and you move on with no recolection of it happening."

Satin put a hand on her shoulder. "Some people find it harder to find happiness, but happiness is in everyone's future. There is a saying that everyone has their perfect match out there. I've also heard that if there is someone who makes unbearable scars, there is always someone there to heal them. And it's true. I have yet to see someone who hasn't found their healer."

White turned her head slightly, looking at his paw on her shoulder. "But there are those who never find happiness. What about them? Those who are doomed to live out their existance in misery. Is everyone placed in this idea of your's? Or are you just leaving out those who's misery knows no end?"

"It includes everyone. Including you. You mustn't burden yourself with more than you can handle. Right now you need to find your healer. Maybe what your passion will be is to help people find theirs, but you need experience first. Once you find your healer, you'll know. Then after experiencing it yourself, there'll be no way you can doubt it. Then you will be able to help others. But that's only if you want to."

"I really don't see how experiance in 'finding my healer' will allow me to help others. And maybe I really just don't see any point in helping others really. There's not that much I can do....besides...I'm not a match maker or Goddess of Love....I have little experiance in that..."

"If you experience it, then you may think differently, or you may not." Satin smiled. "Nothing is certain. All that's certain is that your family misses you very much, and so much has happened since you've left." He said, finally letting go of the fact that he did come because of her father. "They miss you and want you back, and to me, that love is the kind that will never fade." He said. "It's the kind everyone wishes for, and the kind everyone needs."

"That is just the love of a family. Your parents and siblings. Not the love of a lover....which everyone needs...atleast some I suppose. Other's do not want that love...don't care for it. Other's want more than just your parents and siblings love, they want a famliy of their own to get love from...." She sighed and looked down at the ground again. "I know they miss me, most families miss you when you've gone away to where they are not sure you are. But I'm not sure if I really want to go back to that life....to the security of my father's temple where nothing ever changes cept for a few things. The life of being put on a pedistal by your parents for everyone to see and look at. The so called "prodigy" of your father." Her eyebrows furrowed lightly as she wrung her paws together.

Satin gave a small smile. "So you do understand. Though everyone needs family love, everyone yerns for more. The love of another. The love of someone not bound to you by blood. Yes. Everyone needs that love. For that love is the healing love. Though not many know of it. And I'm sure you'll find it. Even if you go back. I'm sure if you talk to your parents they'll let you go more and not be bounded by the temple walks. Though disappearing on them will do no good. I'm sure they'll understand. And I'm positive people won't just look at you because you're the daughter of a God. I'm sure they'll look at you for your beauty, your love, and your kindness. That's what I saw when I saw you. I didn't see you and go 'Oh. She's the Wine God's Daughter. I need to be nice to her.' Nope. I saw you for you. Andone who sees you for less isn't worth your time."
