RP: Tales End Inn - Lucia City

As Dracos drew close to the edge of the forest he just shook his head, his mane if scales clacking softly. "I don't know. If it was trying to comunicate with him, then it might have placed some knowledge in his head. If not.... well, we'll just have to see, I guess." He walked from the forest and quickly crossed the space between it and the outside of the Inn. "We'd better get him inside and into a warm bed until the morning." He Shifted his form to Anthro after letting Manda and Kleah down; it had cost a lot, but the clothes he wore had an added feature. He drew several straps tight, then wrapped them around his waist, and he was appeared to be wearing a robe, one that fit him closely all around. The shopkeeper in town had been insulted that a Shifter had come into his store, but his greed had been stronger than his hatred, and he ahd made the clothes to Dracos' specifications. After adjusting his clothes, he knelt and picked Kleah up. "Come on, we need to get inside."

Nodding, Manda led the way through the tunnel and into the Inn, where they met both Artemis. Shifting to Anthro, she scooped up Kleah and took him upstairs, where she lay him in a bed, and she climbed in next to him, to keep him company. Waking up in a new place different from where you were when you fell asleep could be quite frightening, and she thought a familiar face might help. She stroked his fur, mainly to soothe her own frayed nerves, and eventually fell asleep.

((Seeya Doom! I'm gonna be dropping out here, as well.))

While Manda was busy taking Kleah to a room, Dracos quietly made his way up to the room he had used here what seemed a lifetime ago. To his surprise and pleasure, the few things he had left there were still there, and he carefully locked the door, then undressed, folding his new clothes neatly before easing into th e bed with a sigh. Hopefully, the next day would be a little more restful.... with that thought, he drifted off to sleep.

Artemis takes note of all those coming in. "Nice to see that everyone is safe... oh, careful with that love, those are not easy to get a hold of anymore" She said to Kuro as he picks a box with some bottles in them.

"Don't worry, I'll careful dear" Kuro answers "and yes, it seem like everyone is all right now."

She nods, marking down something on her paper "Yes, I am very relieved and now... this place is finally safe, maybe the one safe place left in this city for us."

Kleah suddenly jumped awake and looked around franticly, though dazedly. He trailed off and blinked, as he realized it was just a dream. He sighed and frowned, then laid his head back down. He flicked his tail thoughtfully for a moment, not even paying attention to where he was. He frowned and sniffed softly, closing his eyes halfway again.

*artemis looks around and sighs...* as invisible as air.. weird sometimes... *he sits down at a table and, parts a tail to each side, gazing around teh quiet bar with his one good eye. he rests his head one one paw, lifting his oter hand and beginngin to form something in the air, a small krystal shard, a beautiful ice blue color, a slight mist around it. he just stares at it while sitting there, watching the light create colors and rainbows.*

Kleah sat up again after a while and looked around, recognizing the room, and glanced back at Manda, smiling faintly. But then he sighed and turned back around staring off in no perticular direction. Suddenly he blinked and opened his eyes soem more, going still. The mark on his forhead began glowing and his eyes changed, the whites going black and the iris glowing faintly. He twtiched slightly, quite confused. He looked around slowly, finding his vision changed strangely. He could see through the walls and solid objects, as though everything was a wire-frame illusion. He rubbed his eyes to see if he was seeing things, but it stayed that way. He eeped faintly and stood up, hopping down to look around some. Everything else seemed frozen to him. Not even the clock on the wall nearby seemed to be ticking. He slowly made his way down the hall and instead of the stairway at the end of the hall, he found a strange window that was opened, a blazing white light on the other side, drawing him towards it.

Without looking back, he stepped through it. On the other side, he found himself in a strange but beautiful clearing in the woods, under a starry, moonlit night sky. There was a crystal clear pond in the middle, surrounded by wavy grass blowing in the gentle breeze, a few big rocks, and several types of nighttime-blooming flowers. In the air, faint sparkles blew around.

He turned around to see if the window was still there, but it had mysteriously vanished. He turned back to the lake and moved over by the side, then sat down, staring at his reflection, thinking. he thought aloud to himself, then cocked his head at the funny mark on his forehead and his eye-discoloration in his reflection.

Somewhere behind him, an answer came.

He widened his eyes and whipped his head around, startled. he said, stuttering as he found himself staring at the light being he'd seen the other night. Only this time it was different, it was a female pup, with real fur this time, and it didn't seem like an illusion. She had golden-colored fur, with white stripes on her sides, and hazel green eyes, and she seemed about the same age as him.

she said, then giggled at him after a moment. She moved over by him and sat down, bapping him lightly with a paw on the muzzle.

Kleah jumped and blushed faintly, quickly snapping out of it. He looked around a bit, then back to her.

Aesa yawned and stretched some, then shrugged.

Kleah, frowned a bit and nodded.

Aesa sighed and rolled her eyes, then got up and started walking off.

Kleah started to chase after her, but things got blurry and started to fade.

The next thing he knew, Kleah was lying back on the bed, opening his eyes all over again. he growled frustratedly and buried his head under his paws. He sighed heavily and whined quietly. Partly because he was fed up and wanted know what was going on... and partly because he half wanted that pretty girl pup to be real.

Tae had been longer then she wanted to be, the library having been in disarray. She shook her head and smiled slightly when the inn came into view, but veered off down a side street just incase. Since the attack on the inn she'd been a little paranoid. She slipped in through the back door and locked it leaning on it for a moment looking around. She got up and headed into the main area and up the stairs to her bed, having gotten little sleep since she had been out in the city..

Manda stirred slightly in her sleep and woke when she heard Kleah whimpering, but when she looked down at him he was still asleep again. >Poor pup's having dreams...I wonder if it has anything to do with last night....< she whispered to herself. She nuzzled closer to him, hoping to offer comfort and drifted off to sleep again.

She nuzzled closer to him, hoping to offer comfort and drifted off to sleep again.

Kleah yawned and opened his eyes again slowly, then sighed. he wondered quietly to himself, then stretched a little. He turned around and smiled faintly, nuzzling Manda lightly. He thought about getting up to go get something to eat, but noticed the door was closed... which was a slight problem for ferals. Ah well, he'd wait.

He carefully rose and adjusted his, clothes; he had fallen asleep in them, and they were kinda wrinkled. Then, he walked out of his room, and headed over to Manda's. He knocked gently, then tried the door. When he found that it was locked, he glanced around, then eased one of his claws into the small space between the door and the wall, pressing the button inside and easing the door open. He knocked again, this time a little harder, and called through the crack softly, "Manda....? Kleah....? Are you two alright in there? I feel.... something, and it's got ne kinda nervous. Guys?"

Dracos stirred in his bed, then slowly came awake, something in his mind telling him that there was some sort of mystical force circulating around the Inn, and it wasn't the barrier spell. He carefully rose and adjusted his, clothes; he had fallen asleep in them, and they were kinda wrinkled. Then, he walked out of his room, and headed over to Manda's. He knocked gently, then tried the door. When he found that it was locked, he glanced around, then eased one of his claws into the small space between the door and the wall, pressing the button inside and easing the door open. He knocked again, this time a little harder, and called through the crack softly, "Manda....? Kleah....? Are you two alright in there? I feel.... something, and it's got ne kinda nervous. Guys?"

Kleah perked his ears up and lifted his head, glancing over at the door. He smiled faintly, recognizing the dragon's voice. He hopped off the bed and scampered over to the door, scratching at it lightly and yipping softly. He jumped a couple times, trying in vain to reach the doorknob. Finally he jsut sat down and waited for either Manda to wake up or for Dracos to manage to get in on his own.

Apon hearing the sound of Kleah scratching at the door, Dracos eased it open slowly, not wanting to catch Kleah's paws under the door. He stepped in and knelt down to scratch Kleah's head softly. "Are you two alright in here? I felt some sort of power, and it qoke me up."

Apon hearing the sound of Kleah scratching at the door, Dracos eased it open slowly, not wanting to catch Kleah's paws under the door. He stepped in and knelt down to scratch Kleah's head softly. "Are you two alright in here? I felt some sort of power, and it qoke me up."

Kleah mrred and flicked his tail from the scritching, then moved back some so Dracos could come in if he wanted. He yipped softly, then hopped onto the edge of the bed, stretching out again. he glanced back at Manda to double check, then turned back to the dragon, smiling and swishing his tail softly.

Dracos lifted the small pup into his arms, then asked, "Are you as hungry as I am? Want to go down to the kitchen and get something to eat?" He thought to himself that it was odd Kleah hadn't noticed the power, but then shrugged; he was alway sensitive to magical and psychic energies, ever since he was young. "Let's go have us some steaks or stir fry."

Kleah blinked, then grinned and yipped excitedly. he said, licking his lips. He flicked his tail and licked Dracos softly and nuzzled him. Food was a good thing. Yes.
