Well, I don't know if it's been covered already, but I have one of the best reasons to lightsaber Lucas.
Say it with me...Midichlorians.
So, George either read a few too many scientific texts, or watched the Japanese movie Parasite Eve (the events of which pre-dated the video games, BTW) and learned about mitochondria. Not being able to just leave well enough alone, and leave the Force as a powerful cosmic energy that binds the universe together, now it's a matter of genetics? Some people have red hair. Other people have Force sensitivity. Give me a break. And the way some of the Jedi go on about doing 'the will of the Living Force', sounds a lot more like they mean 'doing the will of God' to me. The Jedi are supposed to be spiritualists, moderators, and peacemakers, not Jehovah's Witnesses.
Seriously, I'm torn! I don't know which was the bigger travesty: midichlorians or Jar Jar Binks. That reptile would have made Al Jolson ashamed of himself, I swear. A more cruel mockery of a whole race of people I have never seen. For shame, George. For shame.
