[Pure Acid Dreamer]

Samuel understood that there was no need to worry. But he just wanted to be certain. He watched as Micha made his way out of the kitchen and pulled a granola bar closer to him. He munched on his food and sipped some water while waiting for Micha to return. He trusted the man had at least been from his bedroom to the kitchen enough times to know his way there and back again without getting lost. A couple of minutes ticked by and he soon finished off his granola bar. It wasn't enough to fill him and already his stomach was growling for him. Samuel ignored the call for more food and sipped on his water instead. Another minute passed and Micha soon reentered the kitchen. "Welcome back." He said, smiling towards Micha. He watched him come around the island once more and sit down beside him. He turned towards, waiting for him to pull up the app so they could make their order.

⋮ ۩ ) • • • Returning back to the kitchen, Micha took a seat back beside Samuel. He saw that Samuel had finished his granola bar while he was gone. Micha knew that he had to be hungry just as he was. He moved to look at his phone, as he swiped at the screen unlocking it. Micha went through the applications as he opened the one he needed. He went through the food app, getting to the diner. Micha looked through the menu again, as he thought about something different but wasn’t sure. He glanced toward Samuel, ”Did you want the same thing??” Micha asked unsure if Samuel wanted the same thing, or wanted something different. He wasn’t bothered if Samuel wanted something different since it had been a few hours since they ordered, maybe he didn’t want the same thing.

Once Micha was settled beside him, he turned his gaze to him. Samuel watched as Micha pulled out his phone and ran his fingers across the screen. It took a moment for the app to load and when it did, he watched as Micha navigated over towards the dinner options. Curiously he peered over towards the males phone to see what was brought up. He couldn't exactly read everything, but recognized the menu. Samuel leaned back slightly as Micha turned to question him. "I mean, if you're alright with it it's fine. At this point I don't really care, I'm just hungry." he answered honestly. In truth he didn't even remember what it was that they had ordered last time. So long as it was good and could get here in a timely manner, he didn't really care what they chose to eat.

⋮ ۩ ) • • • Turning his phone so Samuel could see it. He looked through the menu. Micha couldn't help but ask if Samuel wanted something different than breakfast. He wasn't bothered by the change in food choice. It was the least he could do for being so careless. Micha listened as Samuel responded. He nodded as he went about reordering eggs, hash browns and pancakes for Samuel while he ordered a veggie omelette and hash browns for himself. Micha made a note in the delivery section about the gate. Once it was paid for again, Micha set his phone on the counter. "Alright, everythings reordered." He replied as he reached for the granola bar on the counter. Micha opened it up as he took a bite from it. It would be another forty-five minutes before their order was here.

Sitting beside Micha, he watched him go through the app and select the same items from earlier. He didn't care if it was breakfast food. They could have anything, even Chinese food. It really didn't matter. Samuel waited patiently for the Micha to put in the order along with the additional note about the gate and what to do. Samuel smiled. "Thank you." he said, turning his attention to his water. Unscrewing the cap Samuel lifted the bottle to his lips once more and took another long sip from it. He knew it was going to be awhile before their order came, but he also didn't want to fill up too quickly. Hopefully what little he'd provided would be enough to hold them both over until the order reached them. "These chairs are a bit stiff, want to go wait in the living room?" he asked curiously.

⋮ ۩ ) • • • Micha munched on his granola bar as they sat there. He could care less what he ate either. Micha knew they had been rather busy this morning forgetting their other needs. However he didn't think Samuel minded, considering he had taken the day off to spend time with him. He glanced toward Samuel hearing him question him. Micha nodded, "Sure, let's move. " He replied, moving to stand. Micha grabbed his bottle of water as he started out of the kitchen toward the living room.

Indeed he did not mind. Despite knowing he should be taking the time to get ready for work and another busy night, he much preferred being here and spending time with Micha. He knew he could not make this a daily habit as they once did and he had no plans of doing as such. But once in awhile would not do either of them much harm. With their orders placed and time to spare Samuel offered a change of scenery. He smiled at Micha as he nodded and agreed. Picking up his water bottle and remaining granola bar, Samuel slipped out of his chair and pushed it back under the counter. He walked around the island and halfway down the hallway towards the living room. Flipping a few switches on the wall, a warm glow filled the space and a colorful strip of light ran behind the television. Samuel moved around the plush sectional and sat down at one end. He set his water bottle in the cup holder to his right while the bar remained in his pocket. Samuel made himself comfortable while he waited for Micha to settle as well.

⋮ ۩ ) • • • Micha followed Samuel through the house toward the living room. He watched as Samuel flicked on lights as they went. Entering the living room, he watched as Samuel flicked on lights which supplied background lighting for the entertainment system. Micha wasn't much for movies or television but knew Samuel was. He had agreed to spend time and watch movies with him all day. Micha knew it was rare that they did nothing so he agreed. He wanted to spend time with Samuel and was thankful. Micha watched as Samuel moved to take a seat on the couch. He waited as he soon joined Samuel. Micha settled beside him but not too close, giving him space. He pulled his legs up as he crossed them on the couch. Micha set his water down on the table in front of the couch. He relaxed against the couch beside Samuel.

It wasn’t often they lazed about like this. Usually if they were feeling bored they would laze about in the music room or his bed chatting. Samuel knew that Micha didn’t really care for television or movies so he was rather excited to be sharing a few of his favorites with him. After flicking on the lights and coming around the couch, Samuel made himself comfortable on one end while Micha settled down next to him. Picking up the remote Samuel waited as the television came to life and showed the home screen featuring all his current streaming services. Scrolling over them he chose the Hulu app and waited for that to load as well. After a few minutes of navigating the app, Samuel took a moment deciding before eventually settling on “The Princess Bride”. The movie wasn’t too long that he thought Micha might get bored and the ridiculous story was sure to give him a chuckle or two. Hitting play, Samuel set the remote back down and leaned back against the couch while the movie opened to the first scene.

⋮ ۩ ) • • • Settling beside Samuel, Micha relaxed. He watched as Samuel picked up the remote and waited for the television to turn onto the home screen. Micha waited as Samuel went through his channels and settled on the Hulu application. He knew there were a lot of steaming services but honestly didn't know much about them. Micha waited to see what Samuel would choose as he scrolled through the different movies and television shows. It wasn't long before Samuel settled on the Princess Bride. He had never seen the movie before so he didn't know what to expect.

He supposed to someone like Micha the amount of apps and services could seem quite daunting. He'd never given it much thought as he was a frequent enough user to navigate each of the apps with little to no problems. As if to support this claim Samuel scrolled through the Hulu app until coming to a movie he thought they both might enjoy. In his opinion it was one of the eighties finest. It had a good story, memorable characters, and enough sarcastic wit one could ask for. The movie opened slowly introducing a young boy and his grandfather, almost immediately jumping into the main story. Samuel relaxed in his seat, smiling a bit at the familiar jokes and storyline.

⋮ ۩ ) • • • Micha hardly cared what Samuel chose to do with his free time. If he enjoyed watching random movies on his days off, so be it. The concept could be the same for Samuel's passion for video games. Micha never understood the point but the same could probably be said from Samuel's perspective about his own hobbies. He relaxed beside Samuel as the movie started. Micha watched the introduction as the movie played.

Although their interests differed, he liked being able to share them with Micha. He liked showing him his favorite things; movies, tv shows, video games, all of it. And in turn it made him excited to learn more about Micha. His passions for art and music were inspiring. He didn't always understand it, but he liked listening to him talk about it. With their eyes on the screen the movie played on, diving deeper into the story of a kidnapped princess and the schenanigans that followed. Throughout the film Samuel found himself slipping closer to Micha, his fingers loosely curled over the males own. He made no further movements to touch or tease him, just quietly invading his space while they both watched.

⋮ ۩ ) • • • Learning about each other and sharing in each other's interests was important. It was true they both hardly shared the same interests but he didn't care. Micha enjoyed sharing in Samuel's hobbies. As the movie played, he continued to watch it. He wasn't used to sitting still for so long but he allowed himself to enjoy the movie. While it played, he felt Samuel move closer to him. Micha wasn't bothered as Samuel reached out to cover his hand with his own. He moved, taking Samuel's hand on his own. Micha laced their fingers together with his left. He couldn't help but reach over though and draw circles absentmindedly on the back of Samuel's hand. Micha wasn't bored just trying to keep his attention focused.

While the movie played Samuel indulged himself a little by moving closer to Micha. He had no intentions of teasing or touching him inappropriately. He was sure neither of them had the energy to intimate like that again. Hence the movie to pass the time. Still he couldn't help his old clingy habits. Scooting closer to Micha, his fingers reached for his hand. He smiled to himself as the male took his hand into his own and laced their fingers together. As they both watched the movie, he felt light movement against the back of his hand. He glanced towards the surprised to see him still watching. He didn't think they'd ever gone this long watching something. It made him curious to ask him what he thought of it so far or if it was too boring. But for now he held his questions. Turning his attention back to the screen, Samuel walked as the three goons squabbled as the renowned pirate began chasing them as well as the princess. It was silly and witty and particularly one of his favorite parts of the movie. He especially enjoyed the sword fight, finding utterly ridiculous how polite the characters were to one another as they fought.
