It was no secret that he was attracted to the man, but he didn't want to be rude and outright ogle him. Though he had no doubt that Micha was likely doing just that to him before turning towards the awaiting hot tub. He soon joined him and took a seat near him. Samuel leaned back in his seat and stretched out his legs. The powerful jets pushed and shoved against him. He sighed contently and briefly shut his eyes, when he opened them he noted the males wet hair pushed back. He didn't need to tell him how attractive he thought it made him look as he likely already knew. Samuel smiled to himself as he leaned back against the stone bench.

Indeed, as of this moment they were completely alone in the giant house. He did not think his brothers or any other member of his family would be stopping by so they were free to do as they pleased. Still, it wasn't offend he walked these halls in nothing but his skin. It was an odd feeling, but one he rather enjoyed with Micha right beside him. Leaning back, Samuel couldn't help smiling to himself. He felt the males foot brush against his calf as he soon questioned him. "Oh, nothing." he teased back. "Just thinking how hot you are and reminiscing about the last time we were in this room." Samuel floated a little closer towards the male, but stayed back enough that he was just out arms reach. He flashed the male a handsome smile wondering if he remembered the ridiculousness of that day. How Micha had ever put up with him back then he would never know, but he was happy he did.

Back then his behavior wasn't the best towards Micha. How often he would say or do the wrong thing while thinking it would impress him. Instead it just made him look like a jerk and often led to hurt feelings and misunderstandings. Why Micha stayed he didn't know. He wasn't sure he really wanted to either. It had been more than a year since that day and somehow they were still together. Samuel floated slightly in the water, keeping just out of reach as he spoke. His smile grew as Micha too recalled his behavior. "Hmm, maybe just a little." he said, smirking. "I was an idiot back then." His complicated feelings with his prior engagement had led to many poor decisions. Back then he knew he liked Micha but didn't think they had much of a future together. However the more time he spent with him, he couldn't help wanting more, to be closer to him.

Those first few weeks of getting to know one another had been awful looking back. Between saying and doing the wrong things while acting like a complete jackass, he couldn't blame Micha for fighting back. Still, they always found their way back to one another and somehow figured were able to solve their problems. He floated back towards the male while he spoke. He too seemed to be recalling those times together. "Not really. I just knew how to push your buttons...Some might say we fought too much." he teased back. Beneath the bubbling water, Samuel reached for Micha's hand and covered it with his own. "Thank god I still had that piano upstairs." he continued. He remembered how Micha had almost left him that day. He was certain that he would have never seen him again. But somehow his playing had brought him upstairs and their fight had dissolved in a more civil manner.

As he teased Micha, he could see his curiosity peak. It amused him as he soon questioned him in turn. Samuel laughed softly. "Only a little." he said honestly. "You're cute when you're huffy...Plus it made getting to know you easier." Samuel knew he had been a pain in the a** when they first met. Micha was no better. It seemed they often found ways of pushing the other to open up and eventually get to the point. He too did not regret those early day nor did he care that Micha had involved him with his family drama. If anything, it was what brought them closer than ever and he knew he wanted nothing more than for Micha to be happy and feel loved. Grasping at the males hand, he continued to tease Micha at the mention of his piano. Glancing over, he saw Micha smirk as he too recalled. "Yeah, but it worked." he teased again. Leaning over he kissed the males cheek. "Honestly I wasn't even sure if you could hear the piano. I thought you'd already gone out the door." Indeed, their conversation following that little moment wasn't too pleasant either. But that was just the first of their spats and Samuel would continue to keep reaching out towards him, wanting so badly for Micha to stay beside him. He loved him before he even knew it.

Samuel was rather interested in knowing Micha's thoughts about some of those early days. Because they never did talk about it. Too often they would apologize, maybe eat, have sex, and it was never brought up again. As if the memory alone were too much for them to handle. He felt now they had matured quite a bit from those early days. There was probably more they could do, but for now it felt as though they were in a healthier place than they were back then. As they talked, Samuel teased Micha lightly. He laughed as the male spoke in mock offense.
It was true that he often found Micha to be cute, even when the male in question thought otherwise. "Mm, maybe, but it as I said, I was an idiot and you weren't the easiest person to talk to." he teased back. After giving the male a kiss, Samuel continued to recall how he had been able to bring Micha back from a losing fight. He smiled as Micha laughed and admitted to what he had thought had happened. Never did he think that he could the piano all the way on the third floor, but somehow the sound had drifted down and filled the quiet mansion. Perhaps the mansion had better acoustics than he was aware of. Samuel smiled as Micha spoke and nodded quietly. "I often feel like that was the beginning of us trying to understand each other. I mean, we still fought, that's never going to change. But I always made an effort to apologize or make things right...I didn't like not being able to talk to you."

Although Micha claimed to not like being called in such a manner, he was glad he still allowed him to address him in such a way. He liked that they had found this new common ground to be themselves and not stress over every little detail. Micha following him back to his personal library seemed to help and start that series of trying to be open with one another. They didn't always get it right, but for the life of him did he try. Samuel knew that Micha did as well. In their own ways they were both petty and even a little stubborn, but eventually they would apologize and things would be right between them once more.
There was only one argument he hadn't been able to settle and he felt like Micha might be recalling it too. Too many things had gone wrong that night, a lot of trust was broken. They couldn't go back. All they could do was continue to try and do better for one another. As Samuel finished speaking, he watched Micha lean over to kiss him. Samuel kissed him back before the male pulled back to speak. He smiled as he was thanked. Leaning over, Samuel kissed him once more. "I love you."
