Cale Darksun Des Voh At that, I need new books to read, someone make me a list. Or give me things to make a list with. I've been into the Halo books lately. Might wanna give those a try. Harvest and stuff? I was told they were pretty good. Halo Wars was better than I thought it would have been for a console RTS, makes me want to bust of Empire Earth or AoE again.

I was kind of disapointed with it. Hell, with the control sticks I was fumbling with geting my units organized while I was getting raped by the covenant. With a mouse my reaction time would have doubled. And I really felt naked building forts without walls. That may just be a pet peave of mine, but every fortification needs a good wall. Or in the covenant's case, a good shield.

Well, it wasn't the perfect RTS, but for console junkies who've never touched one it must've been an experience.

I've never been much of an RTS fan, mostly because I incredibly suck at them.

The most fun I had with the game was building a shitload of armor in the game, and then let the cannon fodder Infantry hold down the Covenant while I steam-rolled across the map. That, and ODST drops are ******** fun. Instant Army, then have my Spartans airlifted in.
I was disappointed with the lack of control over the troops specifics, the annoying Spartans taking over the most shitty of vehicles, and the fact nothing was premade, you had to start of scratch every time.

Dont you play one though? That Barbarion one? Yeah, but its a different type of RTS and only when two armies meet in the field. There I have control as its army clashing against army. I can focus on fighting. I dont have to worry about collecting resources, building cities, and constructing more units at the same time I'm smacking down Romans.

I enjoyed building mock-historic battles back with Ages of Empires II. Or just building too hilariously ridiculously huge armies and putting a city between them and watch them slowly move toward each other without my control.

So, if I do take up residence once more, and promise to be good and responsible for myself, would I be restored my previous rank?

Sorry, Des. I think you'll have to prove yourself first. Then you gotta work back up the ranks.
Thats how it worked for me. And even without the court martial, I dont think word alone will grant you your rank back.

Quote: Nelowulf Yeah, I'm sure you noticed the demotion from the guild. I figured that until you returned, this would be a good way to spur some activity up. And seeing as how you're still somewhat on hiatus, it's not really hurting you any. The entire guild voted that you were dismissed from duties unitl you returned, to ease the pressure off. It's not a permanent thing, just until you come back regularly. Hope it was no hard feelings. I dont see why not, its not like I got into trouble. It was basically the same situation as FP, execpt I'm returning.

Its not that it matters too much, I can accept the idea that it shouldn't be returned until I've proven myself worthy once more. All up to you guys. At the same I'd be edger to return to duty, in an actual respectable fashion.
